You, Iamoyin.damola and Bluera.ydick should apologize and sing a praise song each for me. Reason:

1. I predicted correctly that Lokonga will start the match

2. And in the CM position

3. In a double pivot with Xhaka

4. And that he will do well

All of you opposed me and even termed me emotional.

I was proven right, meaning I know this club more than you at least for today.

So apologize and sing a song for me all of you undecided
Okayy, so what am I apologizing for cos I never still know??

Or are you expecting that since Arteta later started him, the trio of us will hope that he should flop so that we'll tell you "I told you so"?

Lokonga didn’t do anything spectacular in the game worth mentioning . I can count the number of times he contested for the ball in the middle and never won any duel till at a point he did and I commended him for that on this thread . He just keeps getting shrugged off the ball in aerial duels in the middle of the park.

Thank God for the Xhaka reborn we are witnessing before our very own eyes , yesterday could’ve been disastrous if we didn’t control the midfield with Xhaka spraying passes, switching direction of play and connecting well with Martinelli on the left .

If I’m to list the top 5 performers out of the 11 on the pitch yesterday , Lokonga wouldn’t even make 6th . We had Jesus , Martinelli , Ben white , Xhaka , Saka , Gabriel , Saliba ,(In no particular order ) …. All at their A-game yesterday , yet u want apology for Lokonga keeping it simple and not losing his head amongst his peers? Nah Bro

Na just full fit squad I need entering into this month and next, then I'll be confident. If my squad is strong inclusive of Partey and Zinchenko, then I'm not sure weda we'll cry in October.

But are you sure we have Chelsea in October. Check well Sir
It's actually November for Chelsea.

This transfer window, in general, is distasteful. Panic buys and average moves for exorbitant fees. Le Prof predicted this. It's getting worse. This rush is much more worse than previous deadline days.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 7:58pm On Sep 01, 2022
Lokonga had nothing specific to do cos we controlled throughout. Under pressure, his actual game will be assessed and the previous ones shows he still has a lot lot to learn. Especially his awareness. That awareness will make his decision making faster cos he will know who and who not to track or tackle.

For now, glad we bosses the game and he wasn't in a moment the team had to rely heavily on him. The Sunday game though.....

So arsenal are back with a third offer
Villa have signed a replacement in dendonker
They will be foolish to reject 23m + 2m on a player that have a year contract left
Although they are considering the offer

I tell you, the market is just getting crazier and crazier. So many average players going for huge sums.

I just hope we get this Douglas Luiz sha

Una see why I say every result dey important irrespective if na game 1 or game 33! This season, dropped points will be incredibly consequential in the top 4 race.

As far as I am concerned, there are only 2 available top 4 spots remaining because City and Liverpool are guaranteed 2. Arsenal/ Chelsea/ United/ Spuds will battle for the remaining 2. With Newcastle and Westham as dark horses..

This transfer window 9s absolutely rubbish. WTF was Arsenal and Arteta doing all this while? Even a 3 months old foetus can attest to the fact that we need a backup for Partey.

Ok then, why not sign a DM before releasing AMN?

Now, we're chasing Douglas Luiz.
And releasing Pepe without any replacement is just a masterclass

The North London teams are much more assured than the other 2 imo. Besides, don't be too sure on Liverpool. Injuries will be their downfall this season. The trigger will be a defeat at Anfield and spirals off.

Na wa o, Lack of depth cost us Top 4 last season because they couldn't get players during the January window.

Now we are going into the season with Europa matches to play, yet we have no solid depth....

Only Arteta and Edu understands o.

It is well.

He doesn't have to do anything spectacular. He only had to do his job. He did it contrary to your negative opinion on him.

The way you are sounding now na so you sound before?

Lol, I don tell Una say na Elneny be Partey deputy since. Why we dey bid for Luiz now is because of the lengthy injury Elneny have which my take him out of the season. So I'm not even surprised on this last day desperation for Luiz by us Tbh.

The one wey vex me na Saka deputy. How do we loan out Pepe just to have no cover for Saka? Hope say dem no they think say na Viera wan play wing sha. Na this one dey really pain me pass

Las las they will lose when the guy walk away free. They already got a replacement, yet adamant to cash out on someone that has only a year left on his contract.

Or they were expecting us to bring 40-50m since other teams were paying over 70m for defenders.

This particular denial pain me sa. But it is well.

Make Lokonga just behave... Maybe Partey go recover sooner or we try Ziny in the role. Looks like he has fully recovered.
