Don't pretend not to know that Tinubu ran Lagos without federal allocation for some years becaise Obj seized the allocation......it's this allocation that UMYA released to Fashola and the huge improvement in IGR that Tinubu handed over to him that he used to build on the foundations already laid by Tinubu.

With the advantage Lagos had over Anambra, we expected massive projects in Lagos compared to Anambra while comparing the two.

The budget of Anambra is like 10% of Lagos budget, yet Peter Obi outperformed Tinubu who only raised and looted Lagos IGR and continue looting it till today.

Obi inherited a state burnt down by Uba family over fight with Ngige whom they kidnapped for renegading on agreement.

Obi started building the state from scratch.

Lagos on the other hand already had federal presence advantage as former capital, yet Tinubu could not add one bridge or flyover to what the military and former administrator of Lagos left for him.

Tinubu failed when compared with all indices viz-a-viz how much he received compared to how much Anambra received under Obi

The people supporting Lagos Druggie never lived in Lagos during Tinubu's tenure as Governor, I lived through that time all through in Lagos and I can still say it always and always that physical infrastructural development in Lagos came under Fashola. Tinubu just come claim the glory. You dey tell us say you turned lagos revenue from 600m to 45bn like say na you be governor for the last 21years. Tinubu did jackshit and I repeat Jackshit for Lagos. The only good thing he was able to achieve was get the right person to succeed him. Anybody can run Lagos without Federal allocation. Do you also know that Lagos still remains the most indebted state in Nigeria despite the huge revenue accruals? Did Tinubu not inherit an urbanised Lagos from the military? Which other state in Nigeria had same infrastructural development and investment, multinationals companies etc in 1999 like Lagos?

Road projects is not the only proof of government performance, and I'm surprised at the way these people reason. Does it mean when the entire road in a state has been constructed the governor has nothing else to do or other things are not relevant? Without being involved in government at the time of Tinubu tenure I can list many life changing projects he did in Lagos State. Free medical treatment in hospitals, building of millennium classroom blocks, payment of waec fees, construction of BRT lanes and introduction of BRT buses for mass transport, Lagos State waste management board, creation of state police, LASMA. Overhauling of Lagos State University and establishment of the Teaching hospital, etc.etc, all the governors, politicians and many citizens of Nigeria are very much aware of Tinubus capability so it's not a debatable issue.

Lagos — Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State yesterday commissioned the re-developed N1.4 billion Federal Government-owned Agege Motor road, promising not to seek refund from the government at the centre for the fund spent on the project.

Tinubu, who spoke at the Ilupeju By-pass, venue of the commissioning, said asking for a refund could be very ridiculous as past efforts of the state government to recoup past expenditure on repairs of federal roads have met with little or no successes.

That gives you an idea the kind of phones that existed at the time Tinubu was leaving.

It would take his team going into the archives to print and circulate the projects as they were commissioned at the time.

Camera phones were not commonplace and so pictures would be vastly reduced.
