A young lady on Facebook by the name Mariah Noni while reacting to a Facebook reel video that was directed at condemning women with Tattoos on their bodies narrated why she’s got tattoos on her legs.

According to her, she had to use tattoos to cover up scars she got from an accident that claimed the life of her dad. To hide the scars, she used tattoos to dampen the pain that could come from just seeing the scar on her leg.

Very creative indeed. I think social and religious views sometimes should be removed from these things.

For instance in a typical Nigerian Christian family majority may think the lady is having a poor home training.

But on the contrary a very creative way to forget a traumatic experience.

Human standards are not God standards. Some humans once called television a sin , some called red wine a sin, some called using instruments in the house of God a sin, some tattoos, some Jerry curls, some powder,some pork, some 2 wives,some earrings, others wedding rings, some trousers.

God sits in heaven and laugh at all these things, God wants your heart and soul, not your body. Your body is just a dust that is easy to get anywhere

That doesn't still make me tattoo my body.

If she is not perceived as a runs woman now, she wouldn't be perceived as that in the future. Future generations will be more Liberal than our current generation.

P.S. I disagree that our Nigerian society is not ripe for tattoos, especially beautifully looking ones as that in the pix.

The scars wasn't that bad though

If these lovely tattoos help ease even just a little bit of her pain, then they're doing their job. In any case, it's no one's business or place to condemn something so personal to her.

Gosh people should stop judging. Maybe the scars were traumatising her and covering it up actually makes her feel better.

Her body, her choice.
