WhatsApp has made group Admins more powerful by allowing them to delete any messages sent by the group members.

Few months ago, the Meta-Owned Company made the announcement that the feature will be made available soon.

Mr. Odewale Adesoye (A. K. A. Green Man) is very glad to announce to the general public that group Admins can now delete messages from the group chat.

This is indeed a very good development from WhatsApp as it will curb the activities of scammers and spammers.

Please note that the feature is available only on the new WhatsApp. In other words, you need to update your WhatsApp to the latest version before you can use this feature.

This has been in existence for like 2 months now na. Besides the way WhatsApp admins act like some executive governor of a state though lol

As a group admin myself, I remove spammers and scammers by deleting the offending accounts after warning others. Sha, some people are stupid so this is a useful feature. I just never had problems dealing with transgressors in the first place.

Technology keeps growing , that's how government systems are improving world wide with new initiatives embarked on by several administrations. In Nigeria only one state is carrying out innovative policies and growing. We all know that state in Nigeria. It's not just to compare advanced countries with working good systems to Nigeria, are we willing to bring in the right innovations or maintain status quo.

I need the feature that allows me to block anyone adding me to any group without my approval. A notification should be sent to me prompting to accept or deny.
