Pls Guys, I ordered and received an item that was meant to be a gift to my sis on her birthday (5days from today). But the item (Airpod) has the right ear damaged while the left is working well. I opened a dispute for refund only about it, and sent the video about it to the seller. The seller claimed he would help resolve it or refund me, but I should reopen the dispute with another reason (this time return and refund and not with item damaged as reason for refund). Cause the dispute would disrepute his store.

What do I do about this matter ?

If I choose return and refund, who go pay for the shipping cost back to Mr Seller ?

I kept getting this error code "csc_7200022" anytime I tried to use my gomoney card.
It's new card and hence I haven't used it to buy anything dollar or naira wise.
I tried it with my gt card to know if I'll get an error (expectedly because I've already spent $5 at the beginning of the month) and I got the "passed my spending limit error".
I feel defeated by this country.

Don't do that that returning item is never an option.

Screenshot the sellers proposed and your chat and keep as evidence if he later made U-turn

Take note of the bolded. Remember, it is a risk and once he accepts it without excusing you of the return, that may be the final lap of your dispute progress except you appeal.

So, I'll advice you to follow through the active dispute.

Thanks a lot. I had same thoughts. Was even pitying the seller about loosing his goods and Money. But not anymore
What should I expect from now?

Regulatory Certificate, etc. It's not a short process.

For shipping you have to go through sea, what are the dimensions of the object? The maximum weight I've imported in China is still around 220kg and was about 2CBM. ETA was about 120 days via sea.

Also consider using Alibaba instead of AliExpress. They do it cheaper and understand international shipping more than sellers on AliExpress.
