Pls let's leave mustafi

Gabu usually scores goals for us from set pieces.
Gabu scored 3 goals last season (highest goal scorer by a CB).
It was the change in tactics that lead to our loss.
Odegard and Co should learn to shoot more.
We lost but one thing.

Both central referee and VAR that officiated the game are from greater Manchester so there is definitely bias toward their team.
The first goal scored by Martinelli that was cancelled should have stood.

On to the next
Gabriel scored 5 sha not 3

Mustafi wey commot arsenal go relegate Schakle 04, na him be the Mustafi dem wan dey force down our throat. We will resist every attempt to paint Mustafi as the second coming of Vidic
I know they must pull agenda but let them be watchful of the kind of agenda they’re pushing nah...
Gabriel has been wonderful from last season but due to little mistakes as a result of the porous midfield, they start with their agenda condemning the dude..
Haba nah, life no suppose be like that nah grin

That Tomi benching for White is now some how. Sometimes White will play fine game, sometimes he'll just become passive but each time Tomi is introduced you'll see the a vast difference. Worst part is that it's not as if Tomi is bad defensively. And sometimes we wonder why Saka haven't reach the great height of last season.

That goal, I won't blame Rams sha. It was reflex and split second decision. All these things is easier said than done looking at it "after" it have happened.
Another of some silly decision making from Arteta. Well i believe both are fit. It's not by force for Saliba and white to be both in defense always. Then the preference is showing it's more than tactics. It has never helped Saka. It has never made white be in an assist table. It has never made Odegaard stay forward.

Compared to when its all Tomiyasu.

Then you can't tell me you see White and Yasu as a manager and think White is better when playing some opponents. Yasu is even faster. By far. I want to see him get more games in his natural position. Not White doing that.

As for Rams, he could do better. If we want him to be better, then this reflex thing can't always be the excuse.

This is another angle and I really agree with you on this 100%.

They were left to free and they were the most dangerous
He did same mistake vs Liverpool. Underrating their strengths and focusing fully on your own strengths. Who does that?
Man U were ready for Jesus. They put two on my guy. They put two on Nelli too. Baba needs to improve on tackling and frustrating the strength of his opponents o. We really need it. It gives boost to even a tired player. And it demoralizes your opponent. Hopefully, we see that.

they only become inverted if the other fullback attacks. Meaning if Zinchenko attacks, White will become inverted and otherwise. Both don't become inverted at the same time.

Aside that, there's an understanding between Zinchenko, Xhaka and Martinelli but it's lacking with Odegaard, Saka and White. In fact, there's less exchanges between White and Saka. I know how many exchanges Tomi made when he came on for White against Aston Villa.

I would never believe White plays that role more than Tomi until I sees it. Everyone knows Arteta loves White and na one of the few reasons he's benching Tomi.
Personally I prefer Tomi. But the reason for playing White is that tactical switch just as you have mentioned. If Tomi plays then Xhaka will be restricted pushing forward. The attack will now be on the RW. This can actually be an option in the second half subs. I saw a little of it among Saka, Vieira and Tomi against Man You

Of course he’ll play cause there’s no alternative... You think if Arsenal has gotten Douglaz Luiz, Lokonga will start our matches?
That’s to show you Arteta had no choice than to use him..
Arteta's original plan for Lokonga is as an 8 on the left side. That's where he went to and lost possession. He is being used as a make shift no 6 and that's the more reason he needs to be protected and guided. Not these unecessary sticks

Point me where I accused Sambi for the 3rd goal. I specifically talked about the first and second goal mostly while I solely blamed Arteta for his stupidity of his Panick sub for the 3rd goal cos it disrupted the structure and it was as if there was no plan.

Where you see me blame Sambi for the 3rd goal, bring am make I see
Here is your post and check the bolded. You indirectly blamed Sambi for Arteta's error substitutions Nor be so?

Jodera:
If you notice after the first 8-10 mins of the game when Man u was in control, arsenal did collective defending till we were able to get ourselves, regain possession and dominate proceedings. From then on the press was too much as immediately man u win the ball, we'll so press them(hats out to our front 3) that they'll punt the ball upfield looking for either Rashford or Antony but our defence always deal with it cleanly. All these while we were playing highline oo.

It was going well until Ten Haag spotted a weak spot (the DM zone) which I'll outline in pointers.

1.. The first goal — Man u regains possession, arsenal pressed, instead of punting it long as they normally do for fear of mistake, Eriksen drifted wide and the pass was made to him. Bruno quickly ran into the DM zone (zone between the last Midfield to our defence) which was already free as Sambi was no where to be found. Eriksen one time ball to Bruno and we have 3 against 3 Bruno Sancho and Rashford against White, Gabriel and Saliba. Gabriel engaged Bruno, fouled him in order to prevent any attack from becoming serious but the ball unfortunately fell to Sancho who did a one time pass to Rashford. Zinchenko now back covered up for Gabriel which made Antony free because he made a late run into the box and the goal happened. DM exposed which Bruno capitalised on the zone.

2.. The 2nd goal.— arsenal was on the ascendency. Lokonga lost the ball high up the pitch, immediately, Bruno again ran into that pocket of space again(the DM zone) and laid a fine through pass for Rashford to run into.

As for the 3rd goal sef, I no even understand the tactics as I felt Arteta undid his nice tactics with that 3 subs at once. He panicked!!!!. It's also surprising we didn't move to 352 as we did against Fulham probably because Arteta didn't trust Sambi to be positionally aware defensively to screen the defence when Man u would want to counter attack as we would be more exposed compared to our 433.

Ten Haag found the space to exploit us and it worked well(running into that DM zone). I just hope other teams to find out this template and use it against us but I won't bet against it. Everton match would be an eye to keep on

I think Arteta and the team underrated Manchester United. Normally you should put players on two main people, Eriksen and Bruno. That wasn't done. Just make sure you have your eyes on where they are at all times. That wasn't done
they actually try to close down united double pivot. Whenever Jesus and odeg press the united defence awilo and xhaka will try to close down mctom and eriksen. Leaving Bruno or rashford(sometimes) in big space in between the midfield and defence line.

Ystdy we underutilized Saka strong performance because White couldn't overlap or underlap Saka and giving him options, something Tomi does with ease. It's just sad that this is something we'll swallow and watch throughout this season except injury to White forces the situation.

As for Ramsdale, I agree with you, he needs to improve on that

Lol... That's typical Wenger na. Ystdy game just flashed back Wenger era were will dominate and create chances but would want to work the ball to the net.

We need sometimes to work on opponent's psyche especially the top teams. Arteta needs to work on that

I think his love for a particular player is affecting his judgement... Let him stop being sentimental and he’ll see that Awilo Lokonba should be loaned for two seasons tongue

So you read that and you couldn't decipher what I meant by that? I didn't blame Sambi, I blamed Arteta for the 3 subs cos it destroyed the structure

The dig was aimed at Sambi because he was meant to play the DM in 352 but he didn't cos he wasn't trusted (because he was subbed). It was that simple

Na real loss of concentration na. Ronaldo was fouled, arsenal players there protested that it wasn't a foul forgetting that ref haven't blown the whistle leaving gaping hole behind the defence for Eriksen. And as they said, the rest is history cheesy

I am still recovering from the injury pain I sustained yesterday... Please make una allow me to fully recover o.

They say stupidity na doing the same thing and expecting different results... Why can't Arteta try another option without Lokonga playing DM or playing any top-6 team with a tactics that doesn't require a solid DM?

White can play DM, Tomi also played as DM with the U21 early in the season and he did well. Can't we use either of them as DM while the other plays the RB position?

Anyways we are still at the top and we will, and must do better next match..COYG!

I have renamed Patrick Vieira as Adekoya, he will have to koya for Arsenal to shame one of my Man-U friends that is putting pepper on my injury. I see Palace winning next weekend cheesy

back to my treatment... I was thinking pounded yam with efo-riro will bring speedy recovery but Mrs said I should recover softly with Amala with gbegiri and ewedu join with ogufe and other orisirisi... Then use one odeku to clear the system for my full recovery... We are on it... Wish me well, and feel free to recommend other treatments that will speed my recovery. Arsenal needs me to be fully fit before next match grin
