Na lack of options cause am sha, no be him fault..
I don't think you have played football to a respectable level before. Abi na monkey post dey worry you? You wouldn't complain that it was Lokonga that gave Martinelli the pass for the cancelled goal. Was that in the so called DM position? Use sense na before I vex change topic

So you read that and you couldn't decipher what I meant by that? I didn't blame Sambi, I blamed Arteta for the 3 subs cos it destroyed the structure

The dig was aimed at Sambi because he was meant to play the DM in 352 but he didn't cos he wasn't trusted (because he was subbed). It was that simple
How can you confess to the bolded and still accuse me of not deciphering what you meant? Isn't dig blame? Like I said you still found a way to blame him for the third goal even after he had been subbed. That shows agenda. You asked for prove of your statement o, I brought it, yet you deny your own statement. We can now see who is turning akara upsidedown here. This calls for apology. angry

It's just sad sha cos even even Tomi can play CB so there's no how he can't play inverted. We're underutilizing dem Saka sha
From Thursday players will enjoy enough playing time. The squad is trimmed and everyone will get something as long as they stay fit

I am still recovering from the injury pain I sustained yesterday... Please make una allow me to fully recover o.

They say stupidity na doing the same thing and expecting different results... Why can't Arteta try another option without Lokonga playing DM or playing any top-6 team with a tactics that doesn't require a solid DM?

White can play DM, Tomi also played as DM with the U21 early in the season and he did well. Can't we use either of them as DM while the other plays the RB position?

Anyways we are still at the top and we will, and must do better next match..COYG!

I have renamed Patrick Vieira as Adekoya, he will have to koya for Arsenal to shame one of my Man-U friends that is putting pepper on my injury. I see Palace winning next weekend cheesy

back to my treatment... I was thinking pounded yam with efo-riro will bring speedy recovery but Mrs said I should recover softly with Amala with gbegiri and ewedu join with ogufe and other orisirisi... Then use one odeku to clear the system for my full recovery... We are on it... Wish me well, and feel free to recommend other treatments that will speed my recovery. Arsenal needs me to be fully fit before next match grin
Make sure you use tooth pick o, before teeth injury fit rule you out of season... grin grin grin

Lol, no let anger get the better of you boss.

If he'll really come good that Oct to November time(before world cup), then it means he really came at the right time when we really need him. If Arteta doesn't get a good DM by Jan, then you'll have all your anger justified.

No matter how, we need him.
Partey just dey like pikin wey parents get, the pikin fit dey annoying and disappointing but las las the parents go still love am grin

Spy is shielding Sambi. Arsenal Legends aren't. Isokay.

Ian talked about positional discipline lacking in the game, esp from Odegaard. If he highlighted that, do the maths. He said it was part of what Arteta has always hammered from last season but the players are yet to fully incorporate that in their skulls.

The Manchester Midfield were positionally disciplined, save for Scott that kept drifting off. Eriksen marked Odegaard wella. Odegaard didn't return the favor despite it looking like the idea was 1-1.

We can't keep shielding a player's mistakes every matchdsy till week 38 if we want to be in that revered top 4. Infact we've done this criticism for almost all players of this squad. Why is Sambi's own now diff? Abi he had a great game? He executed the gameplan well?

Na real loss of concentration na. Ronaldo was fouled, arsenal players there protested that it wasn't a foul forgetting that ref haven't blown the whistle leaving gaping hole behind the defence for Eriksen. And as they said, the rest is history cheesy

Lol... That's typical Wenger na. Ystdy game just flashed back Wenger era were will dominate and create chances but would want to work the ball to the net.

We need sometimes to work on opponent's psyche especially the top teams. Arteta needs to work on that
I don't think it's a bad idea trying to set a game plan to frustrate their psyche.

Like 19teams do this regularly to Arsenal cos they feel we can't bite. Hmmm

English is not a problem for me, you should know this. And there are connotative meanings to words used to portray an idea or opinion.

After blaming him for the first and second goals (which were not solely his fault) yet you still looked for a way to hook him to the fault for the third goal by making him responsible for the coach's misjudgement. That's clearly agenda against him. But what you guys won't see is that he is being played out of position and trusted with a huge responsibility to fill Partey's shoes. The least we could do is encouragement.

As for the mistake of who gave the pass, my TV dey shake that time so I didn't see clearly. embarassed

Shielding his mistakes? No.

Shielding him? Yes.

Why?

Because it's the right thing to do. All those pundits say all the rubbish they could, but when given the opportunity to coach they were all messed up like an toddler's ice-cream.

If fans attack him, he will get demoralised and lose form entirely. The loser? Arsenal Football Club. But if we encourage him, like the good fans at the Emirates did to Gabriel and Saliba when they scored own goals, the player is motivated to do better and score real goals.

Semantics aren't going to make any difference. Nobody attacked his person. But you're making it look that way and it can't work. He was terrible vs Man u. You're even going on a vs with pundits like asif all of them no sabi wetin dia eyes see?? That's hilarious.

Fans came for xhaka, laca, pepe, etc. I don't have a slight impression or hint of ever seeing you to defend them the way you're doing Sambi. Infact Sambi hasn't gotten 1/10 of the criticism that Elneny has gotten.

Besides, if you think that's demoralizing, then you should be protecting Ramsdale and not Sambi. At least project consistency on such a stance if that's your aim.

Cr7 as goat still gets attack for his performance. Infact Bruno was criticized for his performance in most games this new season. They even attacked his person.

This style no go work. We complained at some players and they got benched. Ozil sef no far. Positional discipline is one of the crux he has with manager, then attitude.

If all what we are doing is wrong, then no be sports o.

I leave your own stance vs the Arsenal Legends that have dropped their own opinion.

If we want to activate the faith in Patrick Vieira's statement about our aim for glory, them either Sambi doubles up or gets bench. I don't want to imagine getting roasted if he doesn't get disciplined enough to know where he ought to be.

I just hope Arteta learns fast tho cos the EPL is getting harder as it doesn't wait for no one. He should especially work on Odegaards shooting esp with right leg. I thought Odegaard was working on his shooting in preseason, I wonder why he forgot to shoot on Sunday.

He needs to know when to be pragmatic and when to attack and also when to both be pragmatic and attacking in-game

Yeah, but I feel we're getting over this. It's just a few pieces of puzzle that remains.

It remains the big team and that needs more in-game management and tolerance and I think Arteta is still getting in terms with it. He needs to learn quickly

The way you dey shield this guy, someone will think he's the first to be played out of position. But that's not even the one that is funny. What is funny is how you used throughout last season to hype Lokonga that he can play Partey's role and can play it effectively. Now this season, the same Lokonga that can play Partey's role and he's the closest person to play that lone base 6 is now being "played out of position" by you grin.
Aren't you funny spy grin

Talking about playing out of position. Saka was never a Lb right from academy , but he played that place effectively for us that most people mistook him for Lb. Nobody was saying "he wasn't a Lb, he isn't this" because he put in the work to make himself capable. Even Smith Rowe that was played out of position last season playing wing didn't need this kind of shielding. But all of us should keep quiet and clap for Sambi just because he's playing out position shebi?

And like I said, nobody hates Sambi. We just don't want him playing that base 6 cos he normally cost us games playing there. We can't be shielding him and his performances while our 3points go dey go AWOL.

And I can see you just use plenty English yet you couldn't prove that I blamed Sambi for the 3rd goal. That one dey by the way sha.

I just hope Partey recovers fully and stay fit while we get a good DM in January. So that All these our talks about Sambi go cease hopefully
