Chapter three

How come a Muslim girl is bearing Angel? I don't think Muslim bear that name though I don't know Sha.


“By the way what were you doing in the middle of the road?” She asked.

“I honestly don't know, all I remember is that my lecturer drive me from his class saying I should go and treat myself because i wasn't feeling fine” I said.

“Oh, so sorry and now your illness have increased no thanks to me” she said bending her head.

“Don't blame yourself, I should have be more careful” I said trying to take the blame just because she's beautiful.

“Let me go get something for you to eat, the doctor say you will be here till tomorrow so that he can check on you” she said.

“Alright then” I replied.

She left me alone and I started thinking how to leave this hospital, I don't care about any check up and all I need now is to return to Murica in the ancient city.

I remove the drip from my body and stand up, I took my bag and walk out of the ward, I started staggering out of the hospital and some people started looking at me mysteriously, some nurses try to talk to me but i just told them that I have been released, I found my way out of the big yellow hospital and when I come out I saw myself in Okene/Abuja round about close to Omega fir ministry headquarter, I took a bike to my Lodge in school I met Joe in my house.

“Joseph, what are you doing here?” I asked.

“I come see you na” he said.

“How come you take get my key?” I ask as I sat on my bed.

“You done forget say I know where you they keep key?” He said.

“Oh okay, so what can I do for you” I ask.

“Wetin they worry you self, and why all this plaster for your body?” He ask..

“I get accident for road” I said.

“Jesus, so na you motor hit for poly road?” He said with concern.

“Yes”

“But they said it was serious that you can't even move after the accident, why are you not in the hospital?” He ask.

“Am okay, wetin I want they do for hospital? abeg no bother me at all, if you done see wetin you they find jeje leave me alone” I said.

“This one you are just getting accident so, last time you claimed you went into another world, I hope you are not going crazy” he said.

Chapter four
I didn't answer him, I just took my phone and started playing game, I don't have his time at all and all I care about is to return to my kingdom, I don't mind having accident all the time so far I get what I want.

My friend cook indomie in which he invite me to eat but I refuse saying am not hungry, all my body are paining me but I refuse to take drugs maybe if I pass out I will see myself in the kingdom.

My friend left later in the night while i thinking about my problem.

The next morning which is Friday I got a call from him.

“Hello” I answered.

“Oz, the girl wey hit you with her car they find you oh, she has place your name on every board on school promising to give fifty thousand to anybody that find you first” he said.

“Guy abeg that's her own, it doesn't have anything to do with me” I said.

“Come on, the girl is worried, they said you run away from the hospital when she went out to buy you some food, why not let her finish treating you?” He said.

I didn't reply him I just cut the call, I know I shouldn't have left but am so concern about going back so I don't have anybody time now.

I remain indoor all through, I got different calls from my friends asking about my where about that somebody is looking for me, the call was too much and I know that somebody must surely bring the girl to my house because they know me well in school, so I decided to go out, I covered my face with cap and continue drawing one leg on the road till I enter school, I look at the notice board in the back of the gate where they normally place admission list, I saw the paper where she place my name and my department, she drop her number so I took the number on my phone and return to Victor’s house.

Victor is my friend he is the guy that make me visit the spirit world the first place, he has recovered from the accident and he is doing well, he saw me and was shock.

“Oz, no be you them they find for school?” He ask.

“Abeg let me pass” I push him out of the way and enter his room to relax on the bed.

“The way you they get accident I wonder why you still they alive” he said.

I think he is right, am not suppose to be alive because the way the Lexus jeep even kick me off my feet I suppose no dey alive, but anyway maybe am being protected by some magic because fate knows that I have a role to play in murica’s kingdom and I must surely return even if it cost me my life I don't care, I don't have any meaning here but there I have many purpose.

“You done chop?” He ask.

“Wetin you cook?” I answered.

“I get Eba and Ogbono soup” he said.

“When will you travel to village again, and I hope your bike no spoil?” I ask.

“See you, so you nor fear even after the accident we put you for coma you still want enter my bike” he said.

“Guy answer me, when are you going to village?” I ask again.

“I don't know bro, after the accident am afraid to touch that bike again and my dad has ban me from riding bike” he said.

“Come on, you will drop the bike at my house in Afuze, your parents won't see it” I said.

“Why are so desperate to get on that bike? If you want to travel to Afuze why not take car?” He ask.

“You won't understand” i said.

“I will please let me know” he push further.

“You say you get Eba, abeg make for me make I eat” I said trying to divert the topic.

“Go make am by yourself” he said pointing to his stove.

I believe if we manage to get on that bike again and journey the same road, if by chance there is another accident there is a high probability that I will wake up in Murica’s kingdom, that's why am desperate to enter his bike.

I eat in silence after making the Eba, he took his book and started reading.

The day is gone already and it's past seven now, I finish eating and drop the plates and immediately my phone started ringing, I look at the screen and saw Angel (remember I store her number earlier today).

I don't if i should pick the call or not, I don't need to start asking her how she got my number I believe some of my friend would have given her, what I don't know is why she's so desperate to see me, she hit me with her car and she should be happy that am not trying to make case with it but instead she's here disturbing my life.

“Hello” I said after picking the call.

“Hi Ozila, thank God you pick” she said.

“Who is this?” I ask as if I don't know.

“Am angel, the girl that hit you with my car” she said.

Chapter six

“oh yeah, see am sorry for leaving like that, I have urgent something to do that's why I left like that” I said.

“Okay, I was really worried, but how can you leave in a condition like that? Your injuries are still very fresh” she said.

“Am okay, and please remove the posters you place in school” I said.

“I will do that immediately, please I will like to see you please” she said.

“No, I don't want to see anybody please” I said.

“You are really a strange man, okay if you don't want to meet me at least give me your account number let me send you some money which you can use to treat yourself” she said.

“I dont need money, and am okay please stop pushing also don't call me again” I said angrily and cut the call.

“That was too harsh” Victor said.

“She keep pushing me, I don't want to see her” I said.

“Come on, she's worried she has a reputation to keep and maintain and as the daughter of a king she need to make sure she take good care of you to make sure her father name don't get spoiled.” Victor said.

“Wetin come be my own for that, abeg leave me make I sleep joor” I said and relax in Victor's bed.

Within seconds my phone started ringing again, I look at the screen and saw her name again, I just shun her and continue my sleep, she called like three times before she stop.

The next morning I wake up and saw two new messages, both from angel.

“Hello ozila, please am sorry if am disturbing you but I am not myself since the incident and I can't be myself if I don't see it through that you receive the required medical attention, please for Allah sake set a place let us meet and talk, I beg you with your God”.


“Hello ozila, as you can see, the time is past twelve in the midnight to tell you that I can't sleep, I can't eat too because I know you are in pain, I can't sleep when somebody I almost killed is in pain, tell me where to pick you up tomorrow so that we will talk, please help yourself to help me.”

Those are the messages from Angel, she keep disturbing me with calls and messages with I refuse to respond, she will later get tired when she sees that am not ready to reply her, I just want her to forget about me because am not in the mood for any treatment, I need to go back to Murica and my ticket there is if am ill and lost consciousness or if something bad happen.

Chapter seven


I got up and since its Sunday I took my bath and get ready for church service, everything went well in the church till am coming back, getting to Jattu junction three cars pass me, one hilus van in the front and two Infiniti jeep at the back, the cars stop and reverse back, I was afraid because the cars stop in front of me and when the doors open I saw her, Angel.

She dress in full white like hajia, she came down from the car and walk to me.

“Hello ozila” she said.

“Am sorry I couldn't reply your test, I was busy thats why” I said stammering.

“No problem, my dad want to talk to you” she said.

“Where is he?” I ask.

“Inside the car, waiting” she said.

I was shocked and afraid too, i hope she has not told him everything about me, I followed her to the jeep and then one guy open the door for me to enter, I look at Angel and she signaled me to enter, I climb the jeep and saw the otaru of auchi, they lock the door outside leaving me with the ruler of auchi.

“Good day sir” I said.

“How are you my son” he said with his macho voice.


“Am fine sir” I said.


The car didn't move, they just park so that the man can talk to me, I was sitting beside him while Angel was standing at the back of the car with other guards.

“Are you sure? because from what my daughter told me her hit you with full speed, and from the Doctor’s report they said you dislocated some of your bones” he said.

“No sir, as you can am perfectly fine sir” I said.

“Okay then, that's great to hear, we want you in our house this evening we want to treat you for dinner and also call the family doctor to check on you” he said.
