Proves which point. Look at you. Mbaise was created out of Owerri diocese. Mbaise is in Owerri Zone in Imo state. Obowo is in Okigwe Zone.
Bende, Obowo and Umuahia dialect is far different from Mbaise. Mbaise and Owerri are direct descendants of Areli, While Obowo, Umuahia, Okigwe, Bende are from Arodi, with their ancestral home at Arochukwu.

That's how they think. They were given 5 yrs to bring one person from their midst as Bishops, they kept on doing Mbaise local politics, Pope Benedict XVI, who we all know have great trust and respect for Cardinal Arinze, asked him to just recommend a priest from Nigeria, that Mbaise faithfuls cannot continue to stay without a Bishop. Arinze recommended Okpaleke, whom he knows is capable and has clean record . That was how Peter Okpaleke became a Bishop.
