I don't understand this write up. That you have the title of an undeveloped land doesn't mean that it wasn't a refuse dump. After all refuse dumps in developing areas in Lagos ( I don't know of other states) usually belong to someone. The same with football fields that we used to play football on while growing up in my area. Those places were sandfilled and buildings are currently on them.
Meanwhile your particular land can't be the only land on that stretch of undeveloped lands as at then.

They are laying waste and nothing tangible has happened over the years.

Federal Secretariat building in Ikoyi
Another one in Badagary
Most old NiTEL training schools are now dead
There is parcel of land along Ozumba Mbadiwe that has been there for years, no development.
FAAN headquarters in Ikeja has been like that forever...abokis have taken over the adjoining property.

Don’t you think it’s time the FG hand over these properties to the state for proper development?
