Absolutely correct. There used to be a jetty around that corridor with a suspended bar where some English and Irish expat band perform every Friday night. Why didn't the Federal Government go to court to contest the Land grab by Tinubu's administration.

I bet you that all inland waterfronts belong to the State governments and not the federal government.

Its a federation we are running and not central government. The Federal Government had those lands for decades and did nothing with it only for the state administration to administer it as waterfront schemes.

Remember Lagos Island, Victoria Island and Ikoyi are no longer Federal Capital Territory, so Lagos will take what belongs to it.

Before Tinubu came on board empty plots of lands along the Ozumba Mbadiwe waterfront but today these lands are built up. That stretch of waterfront road is dotted with massive buildings like hotels, helipad, civic centre and many more.

It was developed as a waterfront scheme by Lagos State Government.
