Go back to those dates on this thread and see me wailing and crying in the wilderness all by myself about Arteta angry angry
LoL... I remember your posts even though I was not posting on the thread then. You did marvelous work sustaining the thread when most of the regulars stopped posting here....

What changed the tide and made Arteta survived the axe was the coming of Odegard on loan mostly, then Arsenal had long stretch of wins and came from bottom half 13/14th to finish 8th. Arteta survived the harmer but Arsenal was not in Europe due to those many earlier loses.

I think what really changed the tide was ESR introduction. Since then we won back to back in the league and we had an upturn of result. Odegaard obviously only strengthened it but without ESR against Chelsea on that 26th of December and beyond, maybe na another coach we for the talk of by now

Maquinors played well. I’m hoping to see more of him.

Turner Is just Runnerson pro max . It’s unfortunate most good keepers do not want to play second fiddle ; hence we will always have one good first choice goalkeeper and a clown as his deputy .

Fabio Viera na the kind players we dey call “ alafe eniyan “ …. People whose football na sexy and jolly football ; when match too hard players like that dey disappear . He’s a good player that will shine in matches we dominate sha

I don’t understand why Arteta had to bring in Saka, Odegaard, Zinchenko and Jesus . Is he that desperate to go back to winning ways ?

Imagine bringing Patino and Azeez on to close the game. We sent both on loan and now we don't have another CM apart from Xhaka and Lokonga.

Heard Xhaka got injured during the match and he would still play on Sunday o...not against anyhow player but against a rejuvenated Iwobi... Wetin Arteta and Edu dey smoke sef
