Nigerian business mogul, medical practitioner and activist, Mahdi Shehu, has ahead of the 2023 elections questioned the personality of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Shehu who was speaking live on Arise News morning show earlier on Thursday said it has become pertinent for Nigerians to know who they will vote for as elections day draws near, Naija News reports.


The activist said it was okay to talk about Tinubu’s past achievements as a Governor of Lagos State which Lagosians may be able to relate to, but that what Nigerians are looking forward to is who the APC chieftain was before the achievements and his personality.

Shehu said: “Questions are been raised about his genealogy, his background, his source of wealth, his educational background; who are your classmates in primary and secondary schools.

“There are so many unanswered questions, personalities are very important, and track record is very important in politics.

“When you want to preside over a country, you are saying that this is my secret files and my open files, please search.

“We have searched the secret files of Tinubu and we are asking, please tell Nigerians, what is the name of the primary school you attended?”


Shehu further asked Tinubu to tell Nigerians who his classmates were, whether dead or alive.

He said: “If you can’t remember them at least you can remember the name of your own headmaster, who was your headmaster? If you can’t remember them, tell us in which town may be the school has been overrun by reconstruction of Lagos State, Ibadan or Oyo.”

He asked again that the presidential candidate should declare some names of his secondary school classmates. The name of the secondary school he attended.

“Who was your Mathematics teacher? you said you are a good mathematics student. Who was your principal, and who are your other teachers, and classmates? Endless questions,” Shehu queried Tinubu.

He added: “We are saying that please, in the manner you present yourself in the public with tremble at hand, tremble on the leg, instability of your whole body? please tell us if are you mentally and physically healthy enough to preside over Nigeria. Because we are seeing some semblance of palpitations in you, we are seeing some semblance of menstruating in you, these are legitimate questions from electorates like me to ask.”

Firstly, Buhari has lowered the criteria for presidency hence the reason somebody that got 95% baggages about his life and everything around him, would be bold enough to aspire for the presidential election.

Secondly, The universal magical power of subjugation and enslavement used on the urchins is another reason for the boldness simple because their brains have been taken away from them whilst their foolishness remains their trademark.

When Tinubu was saying Emi lokan (It is my turn) during the run up of the APC primaries, he never understood the gravity of that statement. Maybe it's his turn to be exposed and unmasked. The campaigns are yet to start and so much questions are being raised. They are busy producing fabrics and campaign materials for campaigns, leaving the important things unattended. This coming election is not going to be business as usual that I can assure us. Aspirants will be stretched mentally, financially and health wise. No hide and seek, no vague statements, no blanket promises. I really dey pity Tinubu because APC administration has really made it difficult for him. If he says he will continue Buhari's legacy, that's a threat to Nigerians. If he promises fresh air from the current maladministration, it will be seen as hate speech. Using Lagos as tool for campaign is already raising dust and bad blood among real indigenes of Lagos. APC miscalculated with Tinubu
