There is nothing like weekly wager for food although they still fight over food but its not this amplified.....

Australia has something close to a wager challenge but more exciting. There's a weekly amount allotted for food for the whole house. e.g $800. The HMs would have series of almost impossible tasks, failure of which will see the $800 keep depleting till its almost gone. After the tasks, they might end up with like $70 or $100 but they never get the full money. Of course that always leads to fights and issues especially when they feel some people cost them that loss. Food is always scarce and them dey H on a regular.

They also have a game where two people are picked by the hoh to represent the house on an also impossible task. E.g going into a room filled with thousands of keys and counting everything for 3 hours. If they manage to win (which they almost never do) the whole house will be treated to palatial meals. If they lose, punishment for the whole house. They might all be locked in a cage outside for 24/hrs.
