If you look at your diagram very well, you will see that it does actually terminates on the battery terminal or at best, the schematic is made to look like a bus bar.
What is however very significant is that the grid input passes through the charge controller before going out into the inverter. This is really nice.
Line diagrams are usually drawn to simplify understanding, as long as the terminals are at the same potential, you can always do your connection at any of the available points. The rule of thumb however is to make it easy to understand when troubleshooting, so ideally, you would want the different polarities to be as near as possible so that it is easy to know where they terminate.

contease:

@Ojeysky, let me allow you read the diagram and details from the datasheet then let me know if it's still not clear to youbro... Things are indeed fast changing in my opinion...

Let me share parts of the datasheet...

Many thanks and respect to the one I rather call "Prof" I met here... His been providing me priceless guides from the day one i started this venture with 6car batteries... Prof, thank you so much, may your batteries keep producing same power from day one till end of life! Lol... Thank you so much. You know I appreciate you Prof!

Home automation guys, please I am trying to design a Solar/ Energy dashboard for my Epever and Axpert inverter. Rather than go through hours of research, if there is anyone who has done it and has an easy way to achieve this, kindly advice.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ebocoms: 1:01pm On Sep 08, 2022
You will need Node-red to send both data to Emoncms to have a single dashboard. I can forward you my Node red json file that combines my Axpert inverter and Epever CC.

Thanks a lot. I will really appreciate that

I am first interested in the hardware part of the connection for the communication to happen. Are there interface options to select from.

Finally here to seek advice on this solar installation. I hv a plan to have 3.5kva or 5kva solar to power my house. I will like a neat and compact sizing hence am looking at going for the lithium battery.
Hoping to power 55inches smart tv , 394 liter Samsung refrigerator, 7 led light , 3 rechargeable fan .
I will like to start using the solar but which comes first as i intend to start without panels but will buy the panel along the line and build up .
Pls Whats the wattage of this 2 electronic as I couldn't calculate it .

Pls i need advice on the way around this thing .

Thanks

The tv is 110w
The fridge is 120w-140w
3 rechargeable fans = 105w @ 35w each

Total load should be around 300w

3.5kva inverter can easily handle this load.

You can start with 8 nos of 3.2v 280ah or 24v 7.2kwh lithium battery.

I'll suggest you don't power the fridge more often, unless you guys have like guaranteed 5 hours/day or more of NEPA supply or you add solar panels to the mix.

Thanks so much for answering and enlightening me on this solar issue. I do have minimum of 5hrs and maximum of 8hrs light a day ,which i think it can keep my fridge cold enough.
My question, will i still need 7.5kwh lithium battery if i should add panel to the mix ?
How many panels do u think i will add to it if need be ?

Thanks for answering my questions

With that hours of public supply, you can run your fridge during NEPA supply, assuming you don't have solar panels. But when you get solar panels you can run the fridge through peak sun period (10am to 3pm).

Yes, you do have need for that 7.2kwh battery even if you add solar panels. You can start off with 4 nos of 400w solar panels. Theoretically, you can charge this capacity of battery if totally depleted in 4hours 30 minutes of sunshine with this size of solar panels. You can add more for faster charging time.

In Jamaica, he also charges his Nissan leaf with it. His solar array even seems to be child's play compared to what some of our guys on this thread have.

And in his interview he made mention that the Jamaican government reduced the custom duties on some imported solar items to improve affordability.

But for 9ja, hmm it is well.

And just a little off topic, it's annoying that Nigerians have to sit for IELTS and Jamaicans don't have to. Jamaican English is nothing compared with English as it is spoken in Nigeria. Even most brits themselves cannot match up to Nigerians in Test of English Language.

The lifepo4 was not dead, a lvd of the BMS was reached so the BMS protected the cells from dieing in the real sense. You don't want to have a truly dead lifepo4 as it's usually unrecoverable if that happens

Yes I am using Pi. I intend to use ESPhome on HA, with an ESP32 so I am using serial to RS485 converter to connect to the ESP32 so that ESPhomes on HA can see it as a device.
As for the Axpert, mine has a Usb port, can't remember if it ever came with a cable. It looks like I can use a FT232R to also connect the same way with the ESP32
I will still need that node red file you talked about. I can send you mail if you want

How did you go about this?
Is it dependent on the BMS type

Add an extra 200W panel to provide adequate charging but if with very good grid supply ... You disregard this.

2 - 200w solar panels
40 amps cc(PMW)
850Va nexus inverter.

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 8:04pm On Sep 09, 2022
Since your average peak load is fridge and other peak loads are occasional use, I'd suggest you stick with a 3KW OR 3.5KW hybrid inverter

Felicity have a 24V battery too that you can explore.

2,400Wp of Solar PV
Moneyboyz:
Hello, so I wanna join the solar community,

I need to power a fridge (just to make it chill and put it off) and most importantly a washing machine, pumping machine the rest are just led bulbs and rechargable fan.
Not like all would be in use at once.

So I have eyes on a 24v 5kw felicity lithium battery.
I want to know if that's is enough and how many solar panels I will need, the type of charge controller I need and the inverter needed to make this happen.

I would he happy if someone can give me a quote for this.
