kcnwaigbo:Dont be too confident LP will win southeast and southsouth including Northcentral. PDP will spoil votes for LP in those regions. Infact, dont be surprised if PDP get more votes than LP in those regions cos the southeasterners are not united. Ordinary presidential primaries in APC, the aspirants from the southeast and south-south regions could not step down for themselves to form a united front, even in PDP, the likes of UDOM and co find it difficult to step down for Wike just like Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku. You people think you are united, meanwhile you're not. Infact, LP may not win a single state in the whole federation. |

BurialGround:I don't always reply mentions but let me make an exception with you. See, the igbos didn't align with SW in 1999 for the emergence of OBJ. The Igbos aligned with the North. The candidate of the SW was Olu Falae under AD/APP ( I don't know how old you were during that election). So let correct you on that. That's why after the election SE produced the Senate President. But as time went on the powers of the Igbos in PDP was whittled down to Deputy Senate President and heavy presence of Igbo political appointees especially during the time of Jonathan. Then after 2011, a group of unhappy PDP members especially those from the North aligned with SW. But instead of my people to at least spread their tentacles into this new party and have a say if the new party wins. We could maintain presence in both parties but we refused and called the party an Anathema. PDP lost the 2015 election. Then some people from SS started retreating into APC and were able to have a stake after 2019 election and it's looking like they will play an even bigger role in 2023. That doesn't stop them from also maintaining a presence in PDP. Our political aloofness and disunity is the reason PDP had the audacity to push us aside and give its presidential ticket to a Northern and we couldn't call them out after over 20 years of political servitude to PDP. Now to kill ourselves finally as far as the political equation in Nigeria is concerned we have now ported to LP. Ask yourself why 5 months to the election no political heavyweight is decamping to LP even in the South East? Even in Peter Obi's Anambra State? So you think that politicians are fools? You can read politics more than them? Ndi Igbo, 2023 will send us further into the political wilderness if we continue like this. Other people are joining us in this Peter Obi macabre dance touting New Nigeria. Na only us want achieve the New Nigeria? Where are the politicians from their regions and states? Why are they not joining LP/Peter Obi to achieve this New Nigeria? Onye amaghi ka ora ebulu ya gbafelu be nna ya. Ogwugo ka oram n'onu. Ndewonu. |

beyondPen:I often hear this line together with another that has been recently addressed in full which says 'power is not given, but is taken', to which a south-easterner has stepped up in the form of Peter Obi, yet it is still a problem to most. So I will ask you in clear terms. What do you mean by 'making peace and stretching hands', because I cannot recount an Easterner elected into office since 1999. And if not, it means they have been voting for candidates from regions other than their own all the while. So what is the peace and the hands about? Now, I am not from the East, but if you are from the West, I think the moral burden is rather on folks from that clime who feel they deserve another shot at the office having enjoyed it for 8 years under OBJ, so your moral compass should at least be spinning completely around and pointing you in the direction of supportung a south-easterner this time around instead of fueling this guilt escortion. But like most posts from you folks I sense an inkling of superiorism, an ownership of the polity, that arrogates you the power to decide where the leadership of this country goes. You can taste it in the condescending tone of the 'plea'. That my friend is not a moral contest at all. Sorry, but you are deeply embedded in sectionalism and are a flag for all that is base about Nigeria. So look intently into a mirror and know this. You may have all the cake, but, This country WILL NEVER MOVE FORWARD WITH INJUSTICE. Take that to the bank. |

sammhi:Oga, election in Nigeria is still far from being decided by logic or masses choice. Both PDP and APC bought votes during Osun election, one of the reason PDP won was because they pay more than APC per vote #10k while APC pays 7k. Poverty is main cause of chosen the bad leaders in this country, I am very sure that 95% of those shouting take your country back will collect 10k and vote for a particular candidate. Apart from the fact that Nigerians lack foresight, no poverty striken electorates will reject 10k in the name of " I want this particular candidate". Whoever says or think they will collect their money and vote their choice has never been to pooling booth before. There is a way electorates stylishly show their tumb print to a coded party agent hiding at strategy conner before they give you money. They are not that silly to dash people money without ensuring they vote for them(except party agents did not spend as expected). For us to chose the best leaders, the poverty rate must be reduce to barest minimum. |

BurialGround:Did you just insinuated Igbos alligned with PDP, very funny Now listen kiddo, there was no time igbos were outside PDP, infact PDP remains the most indigeneous party in AfghanEastern since it was formed in 1999 and there was no time igbos voted outside PDP pattern which means OBJ and GEJ got East vote simply becos they were PDP's choice, nothing more. 2015 was the year Nigeria moved from one party system to a two party system @least, and since 2015 till 2019 no candidate that igbos supported had succeeded or won the presidential sit, which is why these time Atiku slidelined Peter Obi and seems not to be given the igbos much credence unlike before the reality as dawn on Atiku.Ignorance is not an excuse, Igbos are expendable in Nigeria politics, know these and know peace |

Gombe is a traditional pdp state . The present Governor there is next to failure. Yobe state might follow ne agenda . Tinubu and Obituary have finally turn this coming election to tribe .... Many states will align with pdp in the north seunmsg: |
| Re: Muhammad Yahaya: Tinubu Will Defeat Atiku In The North-East by seunmsg(m): 11:15am On Sep 11, 2022 |
Troublemaker111:Gombe is an APC state. All the political bigwigs in the state are in APC and fully supporting Tinubu. Yobe is fully APC. PDP has never won the state since 1999 so there is nothing to fear. Bornu and Yobe are as sure as any other south west states for Tinubu. Talking about a performance, apart from Zulum, is there any NE governor that has performed very well? The one in Bauchi is the worse, yet, we’re still projecting the state for PDP despite being a traditional APC state. |

blamingthedevil:One thing the south should learn from the north pattern of politics,is how they show support for you in public and then work against you in private What they do in private is even more effective than the support they show you in public So that when you lose, you cannot accuse them of not supporting you Whether you win or losee,it will benefit them in a way |

OYA, LET'S ASSUME.... Let us assume that Fashola and Ambode did nothing in Lagos and all the glory went to Tinubu. Let's still assume that Lagos was never the Federal Capital of Nigeria and Tinubu single handedly built the city from scratch. We will all say "Thank you and God bless you for all you did 22 years ago in your youthful and vibrant days" . But those days are gone..... Can Nigeria invite Jay Jay okocha to another World Cup because he was our best midfielder? Can Nigeria even invite Kanu Nwankwo or Taribo West to another World Cup because they made us proud in their days? Can Nigeria invite Chioma Ajunwa to another Olympics just because she won a gold medal in Atlanta 1996 Olympics ? Asiwaju is 86 years and his days are gone. Wisdom is knowing how to leave when ovation is still loud... Let's focus on saving the economy of Nigeria #copied |

Nonsense comment. Can any governor win an election without his people's support or can a single vote win an election? Well, keep dreaming. One thing you should know is that the 2023 election will be different from every election we've had in the past. Okoroawusa: |
