After the death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei surpassed her as the monarch who has reigned for the longest.

As of Friday, Bolkiah, who ascended to the throne in 1967, had been in power for 54 years and 339 days, which is more than four years longer than Margrethe II of Denmark, who is currently the second-longest monarch to hold the throne.

Her Majesty, who ascended to the throne in 1952 at the age of just 25 in the wake of World War II, was by far the longest-reigning monarch in history before she passed away earlier this year, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her coronation.

please note, none of the monarchs in Nigeria rule or control the state or Nation. hence the reason why this monarchs are different.

A monarch/King in Nigeria can be controlled by the state Government or even dethroned.
You cant dethroned the King of England or Sultan of Brunei because they are the Rulers/Government of their country.

furthermore, The king of England Controls not just 4 countries in the Uk. Also Canada, Australia among others.
