If u take a close look at the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria at the section where states and their LGAs are listed. you will find out that there is nothing like Obio akpor, but rather Obiakpor. Then where did ''Obio" come from? Which does not have any meaning in my ikwerre language huh

Obio and Akpor are two different ancient communities making up the LGA.

There is no name as Obioakpor or Obiakpor. It's a combination such as UgwunaAgbo consisting of Ukwu and Agbo ancient communities in Abia State.

Akpor and Obio are two different Ikwerre clans. They don't even speak the same dialect.
