I have to agree. The first time I went to Lokoja, I was shocked how bad the place looked for a state capital

Lokoja looks like a local government headquarters. From Ganaja to Felele through Ibrahim Taiwo is just a slum town. Half of the residents don't have toilets in their houses and they make use of River Niger for defecation.

The town can be very hot too with extreme humidity. I lived there in 2011 during my service year and it felt like hell. Mount Patti was the only nice thing about the town.

Don't say what you don't know. In the north, minna city can easily be mentioned in the top 5 beautiful cities in the region. What I think the city lacks is commercial activities and the water problem. Because even when boreholes are dug, it gets to a point that the borehole stops working; I don't know, maybe is because the city is on a rock or something.

But Minna is beautiful in its own right even though their current governor should be the worst governor in Nigeria.

Oga , I am currently living in Minna so I know what I am saying. If not for the University of Technology , Minna , the town would be worse than a hamlet . In fact, Zungeru is more developed that this rubbish town called Minna ...only Bida self can compete with Minna and may even win.
