The heartland and capital of the former Eastern region which doubled as the capital of the rogue Biafra nation and current capital of Enugu, is set to get a new name as the FG through an approval from the Council of State has concluded all plains to rename the coal city in honor of late Queen Elizabeth.

To this effect , the FG has submitted a list of federal assets alongside the renaming of Enugu city to both the National Assembly and the Federal Library for immediate compliance.

The city of Enugu will henceforth bear her late Majesty's name and title and be referred to henceforth as Queen Elizabeth City

All correspondences regarding Enugu will henceforth bear her newly ordered name of Queen Elizabeth City.

You should all consider this a honour and privelage to carry forth her late Majesty's name and title into the future.
