This issue sef don dey enter London based clubs.

Liverpool UCL match is due to be played this week but somehow Chelsea and arsenal own is in doubt (esp arsenal own that is confirmed)

We're playing Brentford or Sunday but it's by 12pm, while Chelsea won't play cos it's beyond the 2pm time.

I guess it's more due to the security since Buckingham palace is situated in London than the issue of honouring the late Queen
Yes it's due to security concerns. London Met. Police will be overwhelmed with the burial arrangements cos most of the burial events are taking place in London, so they cannot guarantee having enough of their personnel to cover many of the London matches.

I'm not even criticizing yet, just pointing out what they need to improve on. Moreover, most of our attack have been mostly on the LHS than the right coupled with the fact that he(Saka) is still blending to understand Jesus' movement. I don't think there's any course for alarm concerning Saka cos he isn't even selfish, his last two games have been very commendable and his has just gotten his goal which will give him more confidence.

Looking at that heatmap I posted sef, you'll see where most of our attack is concentrated and why Saka is even somehow limited.
The fact that White as an RB doesn't make much overlapping runs limites SAKA's attacking ouput.
White is defensive in nature. The left side of our game has thrived because Zinchenko pushes up while White sits back to form a three man defense with Saliba and Maghaels.
Martinelli and Xhaka have been benefitting from having that extra body on the left side, whereas Saka has had to deal with wingers and full backs of opponents alone.

How's saka dealing with wingers again then what's the job of white
Have you forgotten Tierney have been starting our last 3 matches bar man utd and martinelli still excel
Also just to remind you odegaard complement saka the way xhaka do to martinelli and odegaard is also playing well

Any other excuse for saka?

So even If it's only man u game he turned it, you feel the reason for the call is valid only 5-6 games into the season??

I mean, if it's too early to call arsenal league winners or contenders, why then do you feel it isn't early to even think about dropping Saka for Nketiah? Why are we so so impatient for most of these players especially when they've shown on numerous occasions they have it in them?

I know there's something like "any underperforming players should be shown to the bench" or sort but something you guys need to realize is that there are some players who have earned the right to play and play their way into form. No matter how bad/poor Saka plays, 5-6 games is too small to start thinking of benching. It doesn't sound right one bit.

And the worst of it all is that he's not even that poor the way you guys are making it seem
If you indeed studied my post you will see that those questions in the emboldened are not called for.

Like I said, I don't support the change because it will affect us long term, meaning apart from it being too early, it will disrupt our play in the future because I know Saka is a very talented player and will definitely pick up his form like we know him - that's if not better.

When I said I see reasons it is because we cannot deny Nketiah's current form as deserving of a place in the starting line up, that is said even though we know it will not benefit us.

Exactly, that's even what I try to summarize in my concluding paragraph.

I believe he'll come with time, and he's been showing it already in his last two matches

SAKA has produced two assists and one goal.

Tierney when he starts on the left still plays the Zinchenko role. He pushes up the wing when we are in full flow attack and tucks into the left Midfield to help build our attack when we are passing out from the back.
So I don't understand how Tierney starting ahead of Zinchenko on the left of our attack negates my points.

When Martinelli has the ball on the left, Tierney or Zinchenko and Xhaka makes a dash down opponents corner or into their Midfield, dragging either the winger or full back with them, allowing Martinelli with more time and space to work with.
But for SAKA, our team set up does not allow White to make such runs, because we defend with three CBs which whites forms part of, should our attack break down and opponents try to attack us.
Saka therefore has to deal with opponents winger who is tracking back to help in defense as well as their full back on that wing, without the distraction of a flying full back to help him out by giving him more options/decoys.

I have taken time to explain this thing more, I don't know how else to break it down for you.

Playing 4-4-2 is possible and we have the available materials though at a cost.

The formation will require a sitting DM not the CM that will roam. It will also require a playmaker who can pick up the ball from deep and tight positions and still create chances. The wingers should not be inverted as they will be part of the midfield and not attack unlike the 4-3-3.

................ Jesus..... Nketiah...............
Saka............. Odegaard........ Martinelli
......................... Partey..........................
Zinchen.. Gabriel.... Saliba...... Tomi
...................... Ramsdale......................

This is an excellent attacking formation if the players (especially the wingers) can adapt to. It will allow for stronger pressing and massive defending without the ball, while totally dominating the opponent with the ball.

During attacking phase, Partey can drop into the CD while the FBs push higher to create an overload in the final third. During defending phase, Odegaard drops deeper to create a new line of defense, a double pivot with Partey.

Jesus can also drop deeper into midfield to hold the ball during transitions. Something he is already good at. He or Nketiah can take on the two opposite CBs and try to split them, drag them away from each other or the FBs.

The key to this formation will be Odegaard and Partey, can they be mobile enough to cover more grounds? Can the two of them be able to dominate a midfield in which they will be outnumbered?

immediately I saw your first paragraph and the formation proper the bolded was exactly what I asked myself.

But the formation isn't bad only that it'll make us lose control of games the way we'd love to. But personally, I'll prefer us to use this when we're chasing a goal instead of that 352 but I don't know if it'll be feasible.

All in all, the only person who can make this thing to work is Partey, any other person present there and we'll be screwed!!

Exactly. It will be preferable when chasing a goal rather than starting matches. Also you made a good point about not having a suitable person at the DM position. Even Partey will find it difficult. We would need someone like Ndidi there.

Someone like Partey is even more preferable cos he can be able to kick-start attack from deep when we would want a quick transition, something an Ndidi type of player lacks. The only issue is that it'll give more problems and workload for Partey as he would ordinarily have and knowing how fragile Partey is, it'll just be a question on when and not if he'll join the hospital bed soon grin grin

This is a good line up and formation
I will prefer white to replace saliba because he can switch as a RB and CDM plus he's a better ball carrier and passer

While our game against Man city have been postponed and with the hectic fixtures throughout this year, we might play that match next year.

Fine lineup but I don't think Odegaard can play that role. When I was thinking on who best can partner Partey in that role, my mind went to Diaby. Abou Diaby !!!

Injury is a b*tch. Sambi is another person who I think can also function in the role but he is too lightweight. Xhaka might be a perfect match though.
