A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Tajudeen Olusi has cautioned those mocking the health of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the party, saying no human being is free from health challenges.

Speaking in an interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT on Tuesday, Olusi, a former National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and deputy leader to Tinubu in Lagos APC said the fact that Tinubu has been moving around the country since winning the APC ticket without breaking down shows that nothing is wrong with his health.

The former House of Representatives member in the Second Republic said Tinubu will prove his critics wrong by campaigning across the country, winning the presidential election and will be sworn in on May 29 2023.

In his words “Every individual has his own percentage of ill-health. I, as I’m speaking with you, I have a number of ailments that I take care of. The same also applies to many people”.

“For those talking about Asiwaju as being ill, here is a man who has been able to serve Lagos state for eight years as governor. Apart from that, he has been able to serve as a leader of the party since the inception of the APC till now”.

“The man has been moving from one part of the country to another since he won the APC presidential primary and yet, he has not broken down for one day”.

“By the grace of God, he will continue the campaign, participate in the election, will win the election and in the presence of all of us, he will be sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. So, let us leave the issue of health and every other thing to God”.

So why is Tinubu and his hoardes of supporters denying the obvious reality? It is a crime to sick and acknowledged it as such especially when the rigor of office will be so overwhelming?

Why is Tinubu insulting the sensibility of a nation with his glaring inordinate ambition despite his chronic incapacitating health challenges, cognitive impairment and parkinsonism disease?

With what Nigeria passed through under the catastrophic Buhari he helped foist, this beleaguered nation does not need another invalid in the person of Tinubu whose only motivation for the presidency is the warped "It is my turn" sense of entitlement given the sorry state this nation is @ present

For crying out loud, this man was a Senator 30 years ago. Nobody criticized his health when he served as Senator and a two-term Governor of Lagos state.

Absolutely , but there is a reason why prospective pilots are taken for medical checks to determine if they meet the requirements , same with military

There are some jobs that needs physical and mental fitness to execute ..Buhari who is more fit than tinubu said age would limit his performance

A president reads and signs over 50 documents everyday ...has over 25 meetings every day at different locations where critical thinking is required ...and that's a job you want the give to tinubu that can't stand a one hour live interview ?

Tinubu should retire and be an elder offering advice

We know what you’re talking about sir. Many people truly have different types of sicknesses which they battle on a daily basis. The only issue is that sicknesses are of 3 types.

1. Physical

2. Emotional

3. MENTAL aka. Those ones who are currently supporting your candidate.

And come February 2023 every pvc holding citizen of Nigeria will have an opportunity to do free diagnosis at the polling centers nearest to their homes.
