Russia's Retreat From Kharkiv Is A Good Move But It's Still A Win For Ukraine by shogsman(op): 4:24pm On Sep 16, 2022
Russia's coordinated a tactical withdrawal from 6 settlements in the Kharkov region giving Ukraine control over 2000sqm , the official reason was they were relocating and concentrating this troops to boost the defense in the donbass region which Russia majorly controls.
This withdrawal gives them the grace to attack kharkiv now without worrying about hitting Thier active locations or friendly fire.
Infrastructures in kharkiv as already Been targeted, the biggest energy source has been taking out leaving the City with no light, a dam has also been hit making crossing for the UAF virtually impossible.
But no matter what the advantage of this retreat is this is still a good win for ukraine, because they now have control over cities like izyum without having to fight for it much, though they incurred thousands of losses in the counter offensive they get to frame this as a very big progress to the Western world so as to get more support for the war and it might just work for them

They expended their entire troops trying to capture Kharkhiv. As it is now, it's highly doubtful if Ukraine can carry out any offensive again.

So Russia continues to grind them slowly.

As it is now, most of their NATO donated hardware is gone. I'm certain the troops are NATO troops under Ukraine commanders.
