But

One thing is certain: ignorance of the law cannot be exculpatory.

So, for the garrulous and over-talkative Reno Omokri, indulging in self-deceit ignorance can never set him free.

And attempts to deflect attention from the real issue, by linking Mr. Peter Obi to it, is a totally worthless effort in futility.

I don’t see much ambiguities here.
This is a very simple matter here:

You posted on your own social media that you got appointed as Special Assistant aka SA to president.

Nobody compelled you to do it.

The same you further proceeded to post your own pay slip evidencing Senior Special Assistant, SSA to the president.

All by yourself

Voluntarily.

You revealed that you kept on collecting and receiving money on the salary structure that’s clearly above your status.

But you did not have the presence of mind and good conscience then, to demand for proper corrections.

Now, in your latest video and attempts to defend yourself, you’ve assumed the statutory role of National Salaries Incomes And Wages Commission to speak on the issue.

You now determine salaries for SSAs and SAs.

Never mind, we’ll only rely on the official response from National Salaries Incomes And Wages Commission, to ascertain the veracity of your claims.

The public can’t rely solely on a logorrhea like you Reno, in serious matters such as this.

Let me specifically correct some of your ignorant utterances in that video.

First, you have absolutely no right to waive, before the law enforcement agencies can investigate you.

The second one is that; criminal investigation of this nature, requires your personal physical presence.

Let me break it down a little for you;

In responding to the petition, you’ll have to show your good faith by making yourself physically available to any of the offices of the law enforcement agencies.

The petition against you will be shown to you by your IPO or team assigned to handle your case.

You shall then be cautioned as a suspect.

You’ll certainly be made to make statements under caution.

You may be admitted to bail or be summarily charged to Court depending on the outcome and findings of the investigation.

These are elementary knowledge of criminal cases that even non-lawyers are well conversant with.

So, it smacks of sheer ignorance for you to expect investigation to be conducted and concluded without the requisite presence of your very self, the suspect in the case.

And let me place this caveat for the umpteen times,

I’m not Mr Peter Obi’s lawyer in anyway whatsoever.

I do not hold his briefs in any material particular nor at all.

I’ve got no contact with Obi, at least for now, and shall never have anything with him as far as this case is concerned.
