in all honesty Obi and Kwankwaso don't have much followers, Obi do have the numbers of most non indigenes mostly the Christians in his favor,Kwankwaso is just there jare,but the two most popular candidates that most of the locals knows here are BAT And Atiku,some months back I did a personal survey,by interviewing majority of the core voters that mostly use small phones that can't have access to the Internet, folks like fruits sellers,shoe shinners,mechanic, market women etc, and I realised majority of them only knows BAT and Atiku as those looking for the presidential seat,but don't get it wrong the more enlightened ones know Peter Obi,just that sentiments aside his popularity is very Poor here,and speaking about the lack of a clear cut favourite party here,it has always been a sokoto thing,the last governorship election the sitting governor tambuwal won by whiskers just 200-300 votes after a re-run,that will give you an idea of how the two parties are almost evenly followed here.

I'm not an indigene of sokoto o,is work that brought me here for over 5 years now, I'm living in the state capital gan gan,stays in Tamaje,the former SS G to the state government Mal Sa'idu is PDP governorship flag bearer while the former deputy governor Mr Ahmed Aliyu is for the APC.
