BRIEF HISTORY OF THE IJAW NATION INTRODUCTION: Please read carefully to the end. If you know another version of your Ijaw clan history please elaborate it in the comments session let's properly integrate your version into the root. We have taken pains to do this research. Let's go! PREAMBLE: Under the administrative authority and jurisdiction of the Father and Pere Ijo of the ancient ORU People and with administrative headquarters in the central Niger Delta at a place remembered as Agadagba-Bou (the lost City of Ijo), nine (9) family lines of descent (the Isena-Ibe) consisting of the original exploration families and other Oru aboriginal settlers came together and gave birth to the Ijo nation, with Father Ijo (Ijo, Izonowei) as the first Pere (King) variously titled THE INDO-ORU, THE KALASUO, THE OGULABIOWEI and THE ETEKURO (ETEKURO-SERIAKE, corrupted to Idekoseroake, the title he was remembered by at old Ife) organised into nine lines of ancestral descent (family lines). They all came under the authority and traced descent from the main ancestor Father IJO as the direct sons or children, either actually and symbolically (for the purposes of unity). From our Ijaw Republic Hero General Ditari and from the Ijaw Republic WhatsApp groups. AGADAGBA BOU. The Agadagba Bou is known as the Yoruba's Ile- Ife equivalent of the Ijaws. It is also known as the spiritual home of the Ijaws. It is believed to be the Ijaw tribe first home. The Agadagba Bou is located in the Igbedi Creek area of the Wilberforce Island. The Wilberforce is the Country's Capital of the Ijaw Republic. The Agadagba Bou will be made greatly beautiful for tourism, and relaxations purposes among others. It will have a World Class Museum that will beautify and showcase the beauty of the Ijaw people as well as many natural beauties that will be created there. The areas will be well arranged for all Ijaws that want to go on holiday vacations. It will be greatly beautiful and be made the equivalent of Jejo Island of South Korea, a one tribe country like the Ijaw country of which the Koreans travel there for relaxation and holiday purposes among others. Ijaws will be travelling to the Agadagba for relaxation, tourism and holiday purposes too. The beauty of a one tribe country knows no boundaries if well organized. @General Ditari. |
