Lol, Racoons. I actually didn't want to show my dismay until I read your comment. I was at lost because this same guy called Buhari made exactly the same statement during the last UNGA seminar/symposium though personalized it to people. Imagine repeating the same statement after about a year plus on the floor of the same UN meeting and now encompassing as a whole. It's a big shame and special kudos to you to be highly sensitive to any thing that proceed from disaster of a man called Buhari.

ASUU is also insisting that government meets all the demands, while FG has accepted 80% of the demands. It is time for ASUU to be considerate at least for now. Educational funding is a gradual thing, cannot be done immediately especially when Nigeria is in great debt.

All this blame Cannot all goes to the government alone. ASUU itself went on strike for more than 6 months and they wants to still collect their full benefit. If all other unions should do the same then Nigeria will collapse. The mentality that this people has right from onset is that they will go on strike and government will loose and still pay them. They have nothing to loose. If they are paid the full payment today and by next two years they can decide they want government to pay them more and they will go on another strike.

Even if they put u there will u keep enriching the lecturers alone even though u care about the education system. Once they know u are week after Assu then nasu will also go on strike demanding salary increase and the useless part of it is that most of the nasu people are not graduate and yet they will want to be collecting salary more than nurses. Everything needs to be solve accordingly and the union also needs to be reasnable with their demands. Because of this constant Assu strike, the government is proposing salary increase for federal workers because they know if they accept Assu demand and not increase salary of other sectors then they will also go on strike. The Assu are not fighting for student but their personal pocket.

U reason like a novice and u thinks two wrongs always makes a right. Law makers are elected while Assu are employee working for the government. How can I employ u and u are powerful than me. The government propose ippis and they said no they utas created by them and the government said this is our capacity and they said no again they want the government to borrow to pay them bogus salaries.
