Indiscriminatel waste disposal is real at Ladipo market as well as other markets Alaba, Mile 12, etc in Lagos state.

If the move by the Lagos state government will make the traders change for the better, I support it 100%.

Labour Party should stop playing to the gallery.

Who doesn't know that traders don't like rules?

In fact, they are also very dirty and stubborn. That's why most Nigerian marketplaces are dirty.

If shutting down the market will make them have sense, so be it.

Sowuolu knows that APC has lost in governorships election next year in Lagos. They're just fighting the last fight. The mental derailed man as said by ambode will be disgrace out of office. The tsunami of take over is coming. Useless set of people, they will collect environmental money then refuse to pack the dirty turn back to blame the marketers. Una wan turn people to slave in their own country. We will vote you guys out soon.

I remember when a colleague told me about an apartment in Lagos she was trying to get and then the landlord told her straight up that he doesn't want igbo.

this was after we argued once where I said that Yoruba are the least tribalistic in the country only after Edo

The landlord doesn’t want someone like Charley Boy in his house. It’s a known fact that you guys are always difficult to deal with.

Are those the two dirty markets in the state? What about markets dominated by Hausas and Yorubas?

If the rules are too harsh for you, go back to where you came from.

How exactly will shutting down the markets(people's means of livelihood) solve the problem?

If you can't be clean, go back to your state and find a means of livelihood there.

PitObi throwing up the ethnic card back to back. First, his ipob supporters threatening anyone who votes Tinubu or Atiku other than Obi, especially in the SE.
Secondly, Obi shared a WhatsApp msg created by an account name Powell Legbe, an anti APC and anti North ipob member. PitObi himself an ethnic bigot tried stirring up ethnic sentiments to help garner votes - a wrong move that massively backfired.
This is the latest episode in his ethno-religious book.
I don't know when it has become a tribal issue when Government of the day takes necessary measures against occupants of markets who contributed to environmental degradation of the markets. How could you be so comfortable earning a living in an environment littered with heaps of smelly dirts. Soludo is demolishing buildings and markets but Peter Obi could dare not raise a voice but here he is making a tribal issue out of environmental laws in another man's land. What a shameless lying ethnic pig he is.

Igbos are the worst tribalistic people in Nigeria. They see tribe and religion in everything.
Victimhood mentality is their main problem, they have been brainwashed from birth to blame others for their failures in life.

Lagos state need to optimize it's spaces. Igbo traders turn markets to slums and a place where touts harrass people and sell fake products, a mega city don't need such nuisance. You can't tell a state government how to go about it's development, or it's decisions to take. This is Lagos, not Biafra land, your ipob terrorists can not control what goes on in Biafra land, and you lot come here to control us, on how we run our state. Labor party should stop inciting tribal crises.

Imagine the Dubai government closing down Dubai mall.
Nigerian authorities represent the highest level of irresponsibility on earth.
Some decisions they make, I always ask myself; is this decision made by a human being? Or goat?
If you ask, they will say we are playing politics, useless politics.
The government is dirty, why won't the country be dirty?

You're right and you are wrong. Lagos state govt is in charge of waste disposal. you shouldn't tar all the traders with same brush and punish all for the sins of some. There's a court for those who refuse to pay for refuse collection. The defaulting traders should be taken there.
If anyone or group of people are found to be flouting environmental laws, they should be taken to the courts to defend themselves and served justice.
This move is draconian, extra-legal and highly unjust

So there is a place called IGBO market in Lagos state and there is no single Yoruba street in Anambra..
