A throwback 1961 video of Ghana kings/chiefs gifting the queen solid gifts is trending on the internet.

In the video, the queen was seen receiving gold gifts from the several Ghana kings and chiefs during her 1961 visit to Ghana. The gifts including a solid gold palanquin miniature, bracelets etc.

Why are you like this, don't spoil this thread with rubbish please. This is a gift, watch the video and watch everyone happy to meet her, I'm not even sure their president can gather such crowd. EVERY ONE was in celebration mood, you think if they are not treated well they will be that happy. I watched that of Nigeria also, for a Hausa king to borrow his cars out, that Ibo people are even boasting it's their ojukwus car, a Yoruba big man to left his mansion for her, an Igbo soldier organized parade, and Igbo big men were at the airport several hours to receive her, you should know that this is not forced. I trust my people, they will never forgive and forget.

The only very bad thing I noticed is the inferiority mentality, the queen is good, some white are good, but we failed to realize that they have many bad people too, we were respecting all of them like gods, the bad ones tends to take advantage of us, and they were Soo good at their evil.

I still see the inferiority mentality in even our youth nowadays, you see restaurants treating them like a special human being or something. But, the fact still remains the same, no one was forced to look inferior, or see them as superior beings.

Wow...the problem we have as Africa is inferiority complex..no race is greater than the other ,God made man in his own image and likeness in unique ways and that is why he will judge both whites and blacks with the same standard..until you know this ,u will continue to feel inferior to them..I have travelled to Europe before ,at Istanbul Airport whites were looking at me anyhow and I boldly return the stare..u can't tell me you are superior to me when I know u weren't the person that created yourself or me ..so I doesn't see what the Queen did wrong to Africans...it was our chiefs who sold their kinsmen to whites as slave...it's still our people that refused to come to agreement that resulted in civil war, infact i blame Gowon and ojukwu for that senseless war that cost innocent lives ..if u want to destroy yourselves, outsiders will be more willing to help you achieve your goal..it is still our people that will steal money for development and put it in foreign country bank and buy properties overseas like Atiku them and tinubu who have mansions in London, dubai and America and our people will still cast their votes for them next year..our political class is our only problem in Africa couple with morons who sing their praises..

The moral of the story is, US was colonized by Britain but the former is now a better world power than her colonizer.

Nigeria and the rest of Africa still want to continue to blame their white colonizers for their misfortune and snail-like development for the next 1000 years whilst engaging in heaps of corrupt practices and perpetually purloining the national treasures that was supposed be for the entire citizens.
