Good day all, I have closely followed the thread for a couple of days and felt the need to add something I think might be relevant in fine tunning machappy strategy. Typically there will always be a pattern in the data. let us say matchday 8 in 2016 had 5 games with over 2.5 goals, the next year there were 6 games, then the following year 7, then 5, then 8 subsequently. This means that the probability of the current matchday 8 having 5-8 games with over 2.5 games will be high.
You should further verify the above by deducing the current trend, that is the number of matches with over 2.5 goals from matchday 1 to matchday 8. if the current trend matches relatively closely with the yearly one we have deduced, then the probability of the same range of games having over 2.5 games will be high.
Next, you proceed to look out for the time the games will be playing. EPL fixtures are sometimes chunked into afternoon fixtures, sometimes they spread from mid-day to afternoon to evening to Sunday. An ideal state will be let's say 4 EPL fixtures played Saturday afternoon ended under 2.5 goals, this result works in our favor because it will infer that the probability of the next remaining games having over 2.5 goals will be high. It is not foolproof but when you do this for the 32 or so fixture you are on the advantage side.
if you are the live inplay type, you can just wait for the games to drag and enter over 0.5 or over 1.5goals. The reasoning is that you are waiting for over 2.5 goals to happen but since it's not coming you can get into lower goal margin markets for good value.
I don't know if this helps but its what most punters in Europe use in betting. Betting isn't random when you place a framework into its randomness. Thank you for your time
