1stGenAmerican:Thanks for sharing those sources. I wanted to check if they provide percentage of blacks making 100k and above within only black population and within the entire US population. But I didn't find it there. We all can only assume from this point. Our assumption might be right or wrong without trusted data to support it. |

It’s not an assumption at all. But your original statistic is wrong. According to the latest census, 24% of Americans earn $100,000 or more per year. I came back to correct myself. The number of Black Americans earning over $100,000 a year is actually over 2 million individuals. 1more= Over 4 million Black Americans earning $100,000 or more per year |

1stGenAmerican:Now you're moving to specific environmental hazards which limits the beneficiaries. I'm aware that there're special rates and added benefits or do you want me to pull up the compensation chart? I stated that in the past it was around 3k and I don't know of the current rates but many blacks don't earn the 5k you stated up there. I don't want to go into all the nuances of the 100% disability rating. This is based on evidence and not just what you're typing. To be 100 percent disabled by VA standards means that you are totally disabled whether physically or mentally and most veterans who receive a 100% rating have two or more disabling conditions. Most veterans with a 100% rating cannot work. Few can and if you have TDIU you can't or you lose the benefits. I'm aware of the benefits are tax free and the employability advantages for public and private firms. |

Helpout12345:Individuals. You specified that we are speaking of individuals so I’m presenting to you statistics about individuals. 24% of individuals in the American workforce earn $100,000 or > per year www.census.gov
|
| Re: Folks In The USA by 1stGenAmerican(f): 1:16am On Sep 28, 2022 |
Helpout12345:www.census.gov and www.pew research.org, two of the most credible sources available. The math is quite easy. •The total US workforce is 164.6 million people. •60.5% of the total US workforce is Black •Of 164.6 individuals in the totalUS workforce, 24% earn at least $100,000 per year •18% of Americans in the workforce who earn $100,000 or more per year are Black Americans. |

1stGenAmerican:Lol, don't go into territories you're not well versed and provide stats which doesn't help your case. According to your 2003 report to achieve a 50% rating hovers around 25% despite the services of legal experts. Provide a stat for 90% or higher and see how many fall in that category. Your reference is also vague. It simply stated "disabled veterans" I guess it excludes those under TDIU. Have a lovely night rest ma. |

Studymore123:You have no idea what I’m well-versed or a SME in. 2003 was nearly 20 years ago. And things have increased and improved. Think about that. I’ve proved my points and I’m not inclined to entertain moving goalposts. No additional discourse is necessary or desired. Thanks for the conversation. Goodbye and Goodnight. |

1stGenAmerican:Don't take it personal ma. I'm strive for objectivity and dispassionately state things as it should be irrespective of whose ox is gored. I'm not an advocate of nationalism or sectarianism. I repeat with certitude that you're not a SME on VA. I'll reject any attempt to disclose classified information just to prove any further point. On the basis of moral suasion let's strive to represent facts as it is. I don't know if you practice but you should know what it takes to be an International consulting expert. I hope someday you would invite me to have a cup of coffee at Taproom. As always Your Honor, accept my regards. |

1stGenAmerican:This is not sounding right. 24pct American individuals made 100k and above and 18pct of this are blacks? If you say 24pct of total workforce, we can make quick inference that 24pct is almost 25pct. Which will mean 1 in 4 workers in the US is making 100k and above. This is not the reality on ground. Amazon and other big number employer cannot even boast that 1 in 4 of their workers earned over 100k and above. Until appropriate authorities like IRS, SSA, DOL provide similar data, I doubt the authenticity of this. |

1stGenAmerican:Great to learn of this. I long to earn as much and more, in the U.S. I'm a medical trainee and a tech junkie. Personality-wise, I'm enthusiastic and driven. But, obviously, I'm in the learning process, in every of these things. Hence, growth is slow-paced. Also, before it became this hardly affordable to stage gainful service and gigs, I used to write on Fiverr. Now, do me a favour, please - kindly discuss the template I need to be on that path of making around that much. It could be an example of a template some of the successful people you know take, that helped them get to where they are. Side note: An actual model, maybe from experience or exposure will be appreciated, and not some subtle, motivational recommendations. Thanks. |

Helpout12345:You’re comprehending it wrong. 24% of Americans in the US workforce earn $100,000 and above. That’s approximately 37,680,000 million people. Of that number, 18% are Black. It is reality on the ground because the data is collected by the government. Not all Black Amazon employees are low on the totem pole. There are a large number of Blacks in IT, HR, and upper management in all divisions. If you look on one of their company diversity pages, you’ll see the same. The US government has a healthy population of Blacks on a GS level that exceeds $100k per year. Various other companies have the same. There are guys here on Nairaland exceeding $100k per year. I live in a subdivision that’s about half Black and because of the prices, I have no doubt that either one or both of the homeowners have salaries at or above that amount although there’s a large number of single homeowners. And my subdivision isn’t an unusual case. No banks will extend $350,000-$750,000 mortgages to individuals earning less. That’s not the only factor at play. Many things make the numbers totally believable. |
