After Peter Obi talked, they hurriedly arranged with one shipping line to please do all they can to berth at Calabar port to deceive Nigerians into believing that all is well with Calabar Port angry

APC is a Muslim Brotherhood Party created to Islamize Nigeria and make life miserable for Nigerians. Egypt a Muslim country saw the dangers of electing Muslim Brotherhood Party as their ruling party and they quickly corrected it and voted them out without delay.

Nigerians wake up!

APC is a Jihadists party. From President, Senate President, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Court of Appeal President, Speaker of House of Reps, Army COAS, Police IGP, Customs Boss, NDLEA Boss, Nigeria Ports Authority Boss, etc, etc are all Muslims for a reason.

For Eastern ports to be as fuctional as they are supposed to be, all the additional charges and wayward rates imposed on freights going to the east need to be stopped immediately! It's these charges and the regulation that demands that the ships must first berths in Lagos, before accessing other areas of the country, that are responsible for the deaths of eastern ports.

Some of you talk like mumu.

Do you think it is all ports in USA or UK that have the same traffic?

Most of you think it is the ports that make a society.

No, it is the people.
In a saner clan, Lagos port does not deserve the traffic it's getting. The thing is even choking the state. The deal was to kill other ports to make Lagos port the only option. May I remind you that almost all the ships pass through Cross river water ways to Lagos. Why not drop them in Cross river port for people living near to cross river like the Easterners and others. Let the goods going to the west take it's course to Lagos seaport. What about warri port and onitcha vessel terminal. Government approvals were revoked for as long as Lagos ports remains the only place the Aboki and Afonja deal will work and spoils shared.

Look at your mouth like the people..... the people are there because you left them with no choice. What if they received their goods in Cross river instead, who'd ever come close to Lagos.

By the time Peter Obi comes on board calaba, portharcourt, warri and inland ports will be the key factor to opening the country's economy. Then you will know Lagos is just one local gov in delta state

Each region should at least have a single functioning ports to make life easier for Nigerians.
Each region?

I think only 2 regions have access to sea and there are ports in Lagos (SW) and in Warri, PH and Calabar (SS)

Just hope its not a campaign strategy.
Port that had been dormant for ages only for Agbado to come promise to revive the port and suddenly they started receiving cargo.

If its political, everything will go back as it where after elections just like the Calabar-Itu road in 2019.

Onne port has been in operation for longer than you've probably lived.

What happened?

Koko port was happily a route for dumping of toxic waste.

Ibos should quickly relocate and stop constituting nuisance in Lagos and South West, now that we have a port in Calabar.

We don't need them here in South West.

Industrialization is what makes a country grow not importation of fake Chinese products.

The port in Lagos is for genuine industrialists like Dangote, BUA, Eleganza, Otedola, Otudeko and co

Little education would have saved you from publicly embarrassing yourself online. So it's the government that's forcing the importers to use Lagos?

Profit margins are what's driving business. You move your goods close to major markets and major users like industries, etc. If you want to move your goods to a place like Calabar you pay more for transportation, insurance and other logistics.

No one is stopping you from using other ports in PH, Calabar so far it's cheaper than hauling your goods from Lagos.

So it is the cost that makes it economical to freight it to Lagos then warehouse it then haul it to Obosi?

There’s like 4 states sharing sea access in the south if you take a look at the Gulf of Guinea, Lagos is the smallest access point.
