Germany is contractually obligated to purchase at least 40 billion cubic meters of Russian gas per year until 2030. In case of refusal, Gazprom has the right to receive money, even if the gas was not delivered.

Please share the contract that both parties (i.e. Gazprom and Utilities in Germany) signed that states the above or even a verifiable website link? There would likely be a clause in the contract that will render it void if Gazprom can't deliver.

I can't see any better superpower that's better than America rising from the earth today. The best shot would been from Africa based on religious inclination but were aren't civilized, organized, nor strong.

Imagine Russia, a superpower, what happens when another Putin rises and decides the Russian speaker in Finland or South Africa are complaining? He invades and plunders.
What about China? You want to see the end of religious freedom or brutal and unbearable colonialism with no benefits?
Maybe we should try the Muslim world and watch the most horrible massacre of humans ever.
America isn't perfect or near perfect any longer but still far better than all these repressive options people are touting due to unbridled hatred.

Personally, the reason I think Russia is behind NS 1 & 2 disruption is their request of lifted sanctions being tied to it's repairs. There are many theories but one crooked and desperate party in the whole equation is Putin led Russia.
