I paid him 2 year's rent, yet he could not complete it. I did the windows, provided burglary, etc and offset from 3rd year rent. Not every new arrival to Lagos could afford that.

Fastforward to 12 years after I have 6 tenants in my house, 2 are Igbos, the other 3 are Yorubas with one Edo man. I am building another house of 4 flats and two duplexes. I bought the land off a yoruba man like you that ciuld not get it above lintel level. I wont tell you where because you pple are full of wickedness. I have settled your fathers (omonile with N1.0m to sign-off on the CFO, your area boys with N500k to allow us work in peace). When the house is ready, I will first collect my N2m or N2.5m from your people as Agreement and Caution deposit.
Like I said, we have taken over Lagos Island, Ikeja, Festac satelite town. We buy out your fathers so that they can move to Lambe. You can cry if you like.
