A boy carries a flag! A FUCKING_FLAG!!
And he was harmed terribly for it, rather than demand justice and rail against such barbarism, you have people coming here to blame the victim!

The heart of man is what?

Donjazet2:
Narrative spinners are out in full force again!!

Rather than condemn a barbaric act, they resort to deflection and rationalization. What a wicked world!!

An innocent citizen is unjustly brutalized and almost set ablaze, rather than condemn the barbarism, you somehow want people to blame the victim for carrying out a totally harmless and nonthreatening act.

Some people's heart are as black as can be.

GOD FORBID!!
Why not carry Obi flag to Oshodi and condemn the barbarians in person?

You need to stop living in a fantasy world and come back to reality.

The guy that was washed in petrol like a newly repentant sinner has learnt a lesson the hard way for you, so that you don't have to replicate the experiment.

You're not from Lagos so maybe you don't understand the gravity of those boys actions and how they were lucky to escape with their lives.

As far back as 2010, the BBC did a documentary on the gangs of Lagos with a particular focus on MC Oluomo and his rise through the NURTW ranks in Oshodi. I went to school in the 90s up the road from there at PWD. I used to pass through there every day to get my bus home.

This is beyond politics. Oshodi is a jungle. That was where Clifford Orji was operating in Broad daylight.

There's right, there's wrong, and then there's just plain stupid.

Well, I don't live in the east and I don't how accommodating easterners are( I live u and those who live in the east to decide that)

While its true that Lagos is accommodating, it's not all rosy and peaceful as u may want to assume. There are some areas u don't want to get caught up in Lagos at the wrong time. There are some "accommodating" people in Lagos that will not let out their properties to u, there are some accommodating places u cannot even profess Ur admiration openly for a perceived enemy of theirs, etc.

These things happen almost everywhere due to the mentality of people who populate such areas. I remember mentioning it here that some states in the north would not allow Christians build churches at the centre of the town. Funny enough one of the Bishops that recently spoke at Tinubu's meeting with Northern pentecostal bishops confirmed this as one of the grievances they tabled before him.

I believe the same way this condemnable act took place at Oshodi, other parts of the country will have pockets of such incidence where over zealous supporters would harm supporters of opposition party. But the way u generalise and just assume it can only be worse in the east reeks of agenda
The moment you see someone generalise and assume, just know they never stayed there.

Abakiliki people are igbos right?

Do you know they’re maltreated and bullied in Onitsha, same Igbo land? grin grin cheesy

“Abakiliki man” is an insult in Onitsha. When I tell you it’ll get worse in SE, believe and move on.

Not trying to take anything from Flagboi story oh.

But I really no believe this thing. Make una no vex

The only terminal with a pedestrian bridge at Oshodi is the one Ambode built.

So area boys took him inside, and poured fuel on him there?

[Are there even area boys inside the terminal?

Make una no vex oh. But this story never done
Yes there are area boys inside that terminal. If u are on that oshodi oke, u will see them smoking hemp and drinking paraga inside the terminal. The section where they park the broken down BRT buses is probably where the guy is referring to. It's that place where u want to descend the bridge as if u are going to turn under the bridge

The use of terminal in his explanation could have loose meaning.
Maybe you don't know Oshodi, but I know it like the back of my palms.

There is only one place where you'll find a terminal and a pedestrian bridge together, and that's the one Ambode built.

The next pedestrian bridge is at Charity bus stop, near the Military barrack on Apapa/Oshodi expressway

If you're on Lagos/Abeokuta expressway, the next is around Shogunle or PWD (I think). And sadly. we can't call that place Oshodi

Stop saying what you don't know. People organised a walk/meeting/conference for BAT some weeks ago in Awka. The news made frontpage. If you want to support BAT you're free to do so. No dey disguise. Even Chimaroke dey support him. Making hateful comments against SE won't sell.
Once someone says the truth about Okwute, the person go automatically turn to BAT supporter.

That’s why 100% of Okwute’s miscreants no get sense.

I use that terminal to Ajah from Oshodi...And no, they are not inside.

There is no BRT bus terminal where Area boys are allowed to sit and drink paraga.

From TBS, Ojota, Oshodi, Agric and Ikorodu, there is none.

I can draw inferences from what happened in Lagos, that the reason why something like that hasn't happened in say Anambra, is because nobody is stupid enough to try what flagboi did there.

Is it that much of a stretch to believe that a lone APC flag bearing nigga would be mobbed in IPOB/ESN territory where people are being forced to sit at home right now by an imposed protest against One Nigeria?

If soldiers who represent Nigeria are getting wasted every week by UGM in the east, it doesn't seem that farfetched to me to expect the flagboi treatment (or much worse) to be administered summarily and swiftly to any fool dumb enough to chase that kind of clout...
I guess we will have to wait till election period to see if Ur inference is right or wrong. INEC recently conducted an election in Anambra and APC was on the ballot. I believe whoever was their candidate must have campaigned and canvassed for vote there.

My point is if as recent as November 2021 an election was conducted with Apc on the ballot amd actually winning votes, then maybe things are not as bad as we are made to believe.

Abakiliki people are seen as 3rd class Igbos in SE, Ebonyi state people in general are seen as Northern-Igbos, ndi Igbo khaki.

From Awada, to Mgbuka, From Upper Iweka to Fegge. I don’t even want to talk about Ọba and Obosi the nearest areas to Onitsha.

Even in main market, Abakiliki, Ikwo and Izaa people no too get mouth.

You can only argue this here, any proper Onitsha person will agree with me. grin cheesy

Ebonyi conducted LG elections and APC won everything. It happened this year

The only reason it was nullified was because the incumbent tenure had not ended.

Asides that, he won credibly.

But But.....Nobody can campaign for APC without getting mobbed

I'm speaking specifically about flagboi and not a campaign rally.

Like one man and his camera guy rolling through IPOB hoods in Awka or Aba carrying Tinubu flag.

Fuckit, even in Imo state, I'm willing to bet its a foolhardy proposition.

But what attracts me to your post is the confidence.

What should give someone mouth in a market? Or you just assume once we have fewer people from a group, they are automatically bullied

“I’m proud to be the first Obidient on this section”

Screenshot the post, frame it and then go to Oshodi to campaign for Okwute with it.

Why your post bothers me is that it paints a picture that is not true about the SE.

Now you have started with Ebonyi indigenes been bullied in Onitsha. The same Onitsha where we have Northerners doing business with ease.

It's possible you haven't even stayed in the SE, but online everybody has infinite knowledge about everything.

Carry on, bros

Just focus on Festac and Oshodi discussion bruv.

You’re more of a Lagosian than Igbo, no stress yourself to prove otherwise, you know nothing about SE, let it go.

If you are coming to Oshodi from Anthony, you'll pass in front of that Lastma HQ. That place has area boys and policemen littered there. The yard you are talking about is around there.

If you try to pass there to make a U turn, there is a police station with a Checkpoint there.

So area boys were dragging him in broad daylight, and nobody stopped them?

No, that's not where I'm referring to. If u are coming from Anthony, after the lastma headquarters u will climb the bridge as if u are going towards mile 2, once u get to the end of the bridge u will turn to Ur right to descend the bridge ( There's a bad portion of the road after u descend the bridge as if u are going to Cappa), it's at the point of descending the bridge u will see where they park broken down BRT buses..... There's a park there where those guys sit and smoke hemp. I believe that's where the guy was describing
