What makes Harland so spectacular?

Height, stamina, athleticism, power all coupled together with good ball sense in terms of movement and positioning.

It's hard to find someone so naturally blessed with all these features put together.
If we can grow our own moller to something close he possess all these features too but not ball sense

With kdb beside him anything is possible
Look at that his second goal against scummy kdb literally gave him a tap in
Those kind of vision I wish for odegaard too
True, but then even Haaland movements and positioning in the box is outta this world. Even with vision not upto Kdb, you can easily spot him. You see the pass cancelo gave him against Dortmund this season? Na wetin Sancho dey enjoy for Dortmund be that wey him use dey statpad assists deceive scummies grin

Odegaard have vision, though not as Kdb but I've seen him on countless occasions giving visionary passes. Another person is Viera, that guy get vision too

That's to show no team is carry over again
Look at conference league the first winner was Roma
We were expecting team like otelu galactic, Bodo, glimt
Now all European cups are becoming difficult
I swear. Truly, no European cup is a walkover again

it's very very difficult for one person to have all these things. And his game is even getting more refined. This guy will just shatter records like say dem be nothing.

Just when we thought we're seeing the end of Ronaldo and Messi era grin

So it's arteta's fault abi
It's nobody's fault.

The DM position suppose to be Partey and Elneny but unfortunately Elneny is sidelined for a long term. It's not Arteta's fault now that he's forced to now use Sambi as a deputy to Partey pending January.

Lol, but no be Lokonga fault na.

One thing I'm even happy is that Lokonga have improved from last season. As at last season with him in that position, we dey collect left, right and centre but this season e be like say na only big team dey beat us with him.

As long as Partey is fit, then make Lokonga dey learn the trade small small with Europa pending when we buy a good DM in January
It will be better to get someone who can not just be a direct replacement for Partey when he suffers his recurring injuries but also be able to compete with him.

Lokonga can at best be a backup (unless he improves magically), someone to keep things tidy late in the second half after the main man has done the main job. The moment he starts getting responsibility to do the main job he will begin to mess up. This is not ruling out the possibility of a big performance turnover.

I'm not against trading Lokonga for locatelli or getting a decent DM/Cm to compete with Partey. Far from it, Infact if they want to sell him for someone better it'll be very good as our Midfield for double 8s are getting choked up with better quality than him.

Why I quoted Sod with that bolded is that it's not his fault that Elneny went to injury and Sambi is now then played in Partey position in Europa Which wasn't originally the plan heading into this season
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 9:13am On Oct 06, 2022
I decided to watch trusty clips on youtube
He's on loan at Birmingham omo the guy is not ready at all, he's not epl material yet
His decision making will get punish in epl standard but at league 1 it can be overlook
Arteta and edu must have seen something special to buy him

He'll work best in Xhaka's position as one of the double 8s cos he has the abilities to play there

Playing him as a sole DM or one of the double pivot will see us waste his career and strength same way we did with Xhaka.

Arsenal is playing double DM na
Just that xhaka is now moving freely forward and partey stay back
Also note that when xhaka move forward zinny replace him in midfield
Are you sure lonkonga haven't played that position too

Who wouldn't be surprised. When you're always defending Lokonga to be a good Partey backup undecided

Don't get me wrong he's making progress and one of their best player because he always starting
But his recoveries will be punish in league like epl where the standard is high and we will roast him if he bring that to emirate
He's 24 i expect his progress to be high and steady though

Arsenal isn't playing double pivot esp when we switched to 433 from last season.

If Xhaka is playing as a DM, he won't have more goals and assists than previous seasons. If you even check his heatmaps, you'll see him further forward and nearer to the 18yard box compared to previous seasons. Xhaka of previous seasons would never have scored the goal against Tottenham and Leicester cos he'll never have been in that position.

There's a reason we're seeing the best of Xhaka now after how many years and that's due to the formation and positional change

If that's the case we don't need him because we have alot of people that can play xhaka position and he's the least to be considered
The fact that we are looking at partey's replacement shows he's not needed

Spy360:

Anybody that comes now will first think of being a backup before even considering of ousting Partey. Nobody will come now and bench Partey no matter how good he's. Even if Rodri or Rice comes, na bench.

It's just like Odegaard-Viera scenerio. Even though Viera is good and is competing with Odegaard, he'll always always see the bench as he's doing now until something drastic happens to Odegaard

Same as Jesus/Nketiah, White/Tomi and all others
