It is the devil. And I don't blame you putting ear pods in your ears, when there is a call for prayer by daddy and mummy. I know what religious rites can do. It's okay to flee religion. But relationship, nope. Call on Jesus, and cry to Him, that you need a relationship with Him. Not this rites you grew up with. Trust me, I have been there in this rites thing. But I am here on this relationship thing with Christ, and it is free. But know this, whatever is connected to Christ Jesus, gets the envy eyes of the devil. And he will throw distractions and discouragements at you. But hold on to Christ Jesus, because He had said, " I will never leave you, I will never forsake you." Ajay7411: |

Ajay7411: No one is perfect. We all got weaknesses we try to hide. This is why Christ died and rose again, to save us from our weaknesses. The only way Christ can save us from our weaknesses, is by faith in Him by God's Word. The word of God gives faith. When last did you spend an hour or more reading your Bible? You are weak in faith. Don't give up hope and faith in Jesus Christ. |

Mrkumareze: Then your religion is vain as you'll still end up in Hellfire. Jesus is the Saviour of Humanity. Add him to your second and third sentence. It makes all the difference. The Blood of Jesus washes our sins away. Can you wear a cloth/dress 5 days without staining it or no-bacteria? Yet you live for 10+ years in this world and claim to be righteous without Jesus. |

Ajay7411: Go to church. Most importantly, to a church where the power of God, miracle is in continuous demonstration or manifestation. This will boost your faith in God. THE LORD'S CHOSEN CHURCH is a unique church God has raised up. Look for our branch and worship. Headquarters is at Ijesha Lagos. |

I'm going to advise you to read the Bible, and when you're done, try the Qur'an too. Not believing is like Jesus' becoming as a child, and nothing opens eyes better that not believing what one is told and looking with one's own eyes instead. You'd be like those placed in the Garden of Eden who ate the fruit they were told would kill them but did not die when they ate it. Their eyes opened instead, and they gained wisdom, and freed themselves from naked slavery and became self employed and lived for 930 years and then finally died. 1 Like

Re: I'm Slowly Becoming an agnostic! by Piptocoin: 2:22pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
LordReed: LordReed, the import of your statement shows that you think that the plagues of Egypt will strike you for not believing in Christ. Nothing can be further from the truth. So many unbelievers and believers thrive successfully because God makes His sun shine on the just and the unjust but the difference between both of them is especially revealed when they die physically. You don't believe in the judgment. Why should you when there is 'no proof of the afterlife'? The wisdom of God always lies in these facts: the just shall live by faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God. This runs counter to the need for proof to believe in the unseen world that lies beyond this physical dimension. God will not change His Word because some people need physical verification of His reality. There is no proof but the works of God and believers who will stand as witness against you and other sinners in the Great White Throne judgment. God upholds faith, not proof. Believers and the works of God are all the proof this world will ever get of the reality of the existence of God and eternity. |

Piptocoin: Ok, for you proof is not required but for me it is since I don't do faith. |

Kobojunkie: That's because you haven't crossed the line of no return do you know what the unforgivable sin is it's not blasphemy like many believe. it's disbelieving in God even after the holy spirit have given you reasons to believe and obey him and you reject everyone one of them it's after those numerous rejections your heart gets hardened like pharaoh's.then you won't be able to stop and you won't want to stop . You lack understanding. |

Lawag3:1. What rubbish line of no return again? ![]() Do you realize that you make a joke of the Word of God when you make these claims of yours? A close look at Jesus Christ's very own teachings regarding the sin of blasphemy clearly reveals that one first has to have a relationship that involves the Holy Spirit to commit sin against Him to begin with. ![]() 1. Anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven now and at the time of the resurrection. ![]() 31 “So I tell you, people can be forgiven for every sinful thing they do and for every bad thing they say against God. They can even be forgiven for the bad things they say against God.3. Anyone guilty of speaking against the Spirit of God will not be forgiven. ![]() 10 “Whoever says something against the Son of Man can be forgiven. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. - Luke 12 vs 10So, tell me, how can a person who doesn't even believe in God to begin with, and hence has no dealings with the Holy Spirit, blaspheme against Him? ![]() In John 14 vs 25 - 27, John 15 vs 26 - 27 & John 16 vs 4 - 15, Jesus Christ clearly explained that only those who believe can have any dealings or relationship with the one who is the Helper aka the Spirit of Truth/Holy Spirit, so why in the world do you go around proclaiming those in the world, those very same people Jesus Christ indicated are unable to receive Him, are able to speak against that which they know nothing of? ![]() How can one solely of this world harm that which is exclusive of the Kingdom of God? Why don't you folks carefully reason these things out before you vomit them abeg? ![]() 2. Please stop abeg! What understanding do you keep pretending you have when you continue to cast God as a liar each time you spew this understanding of yours? Quiet abeg! ![]() |

Ajay7411:Those religious rites were never commanded by God to begin with. So your engagement in them has not been of God, to begin with. ![]() As Jesus Christ warned over 2000 years ago, all of that was designed to distract you lot aware from paying attention to that which in fact concerns God, and this by one who is antiChrist - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13. ![]() |
Re: I'm Slowly Becoming an agnostic! by Kobojunkie: 5:36pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
Mrkumareze:That's because your churches are in fact a distraction from the Truth of God. God never asked men to attend your churches for His sake nor did he ask anyone to build such in His name. So clearly, when you use God's name for that which is not of God, you cannot get that which is of God. ![]() |

Asgard73:1. His parents didn't serve God by their rituals and religion. They instead served the doctrines and traditions of men, what Jesus Christ warned are lies that delude and deceive people away from following the Truth of God - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 1 - kind of like the deception that led the people of Israel away from following God even during the time of Jesus Christ. ![]() 2. If those are the reasons why you lot frequent your churches, then what drives you isn't a need for God but a fear of the world. ![]() 3. The devil isn't the one to set one free fro the delusions of religion, so your conclusion is likely wrong. God never commanded your religion nor Churchianism - the worship of the doctrines and traditions of men which is your churches. So, for someone to become weary of the delusion, deciding to back away from it means somehow the hold of what amounts to evil/lies is being lost. ![]() 4. Who cares what obama confessed? Why does it matter to anyone who is instead after God? ![]() |

Ajay7411: Slowly becoming an atheist? What are you slowing for? It is that slowly in the title that really interest me. You are either a believer or not, there is nothing like "slowly becoming". And when did going to church become a necessary and/or sufficient sign of belief in the supernatural. People go to church for a lot of reasons - from earning a living to hunting for the next victim. And if leaving the church has granted you a lot of freedom then you need to question your sanity in the first place. How did you wind up in a place called "church" where your life wasn't going well, huh? A lot of people attend cult gatherings but call it a church you know! But if indeed you left a bible believing church, I hope you will be courageous and morally upright enough to stick to your new found love for atheism when you hit a brick wall and all hope seems to be lost! Because na that time people dey like remember GOD the most. |
