Almost done with Avatar Season 3

before that, I need to change my rating of season 2 episode 20 (finale)

I initially rated the episode 0/10 cos of many issues I noticed...
But what I noticed is that the episode on its own would be a 0/10 but as someone said, if combined with viewing of Season 3, most of the issues I had would be resolved

And it is true...the season 2 finale was so rushed, but with season 3, they were given more time than be explored

In Ba Sing Se, Azula was said to be so competent and terrifying that the Dai Li switched over to her side...but the problem was that she wasn't shown to be. It is a classic tale of "show, don't tell"

I needed to see something special to make it reasonable for the Dai Li to easily switch over and betray their own country they had served for so long.

Season 3 fixed all that, we could see more and more of how competent Azula is, how terrifying and manipulative she is.
This to an extent at least explains why the Dai Li followed her... Although I still have issues with their betrayal, it is somewhat okay

Season 3 also explores more on Zuko's choice and his character, this again redeems his character which I had issues with in Season 2 finale.
While him trusting Azula still feels like a gamble, at least it paid off, and we got more character development of Zuko

anyway, season 2 finale shouldn't be taken on its own...as it is rushed af and brought many issues...
But these issues are fixed in season 3...

As a result, I have changed my rating for season 2 finale from 0/10 to 7.5/10

But it makes me wonder why the Fire Nation could not take down the walls of Ba Sing Se for many years, if it could easily be taken down by earth-benders...

Fire nation had many captured earth-benders, with their families as hostages, Ba Sing Se could have fallen rather easily

Avatar: The Last Airbender season 3....9/10

Overall, Avatar....9/10

Definitely a very enjoyable animation both for Kids and Adults...Good World Building, storytelling, character development etc

I haven't rewatched Samurai Jack...but I'll say it's on par with Samurai Jack as my favorite kids cartoon

The ending was pretty okay, Azula's defeat was satisfying, she caused her own downfall...she grew weaker as she reached her goal, her being pananoid, having no trust in anyone...

Aang on the other hand was annoying earlier in the fight, but he made up for it by taking away the Fire Lord's fire bending

Fire Lord Ozai was disappointing af... Weak Mudafucker, Toph sef will beat that clown...
If that's the extent of his strength even with the comet, Toph will solo him easily without the comet
Them just dey overhype the clown...
Bro is not as strong as Azula

There's this common theme in all seasons where they play around with episodes that feel like filler then they rush the final episodes...
Even in this season 3, they could have done a lot more for the final battles...
We didn't even see the other Fire Nation Generals, even the army, we only saw a few and they were weak af even with the comet

The final battle was lame sha...wasn't even hyped at all throughout the fight...I'd have preferred a longer battle with more of a threat, and maybe a major character dying, but at least it concluded well

Netflix shouldn't touch Jojo's Bizarre Adventures after this part...
I hope Jojo Part 7 releases on Crunchyroll instead

close combat can counter it, the mobile suit has to be freaking fast for such tho, then you have that shield also! which is a problem too, it can deflecte beams.... I feel like a very smart person can mess her up, am not really a fan of funnel based gundam, I like my robots punching and sword fighting with the shooting also but just being able to only shoot is boring to me

That's why I loved the fights in iron blooded orphans, less lasers and light sabers, more metal bashing metal.
