Russian fighters captured several enemy American UAVs, one of which you can see on the video. This iron carcass weighing under 100
kilograms tried to drop a mortar shell on the positions of Russian troops. Russian soldiers worked ahead of the curve - they found a quadcopter and shot it down.

Fair enough. Rebuild could take months. Substation transformers are usually on special orders, and the station ground mesh would have to be completely rebuilt. However, they could move in mobile units to restore power while the construction is ongoing to minimize outage.

He can if he "wants to"(emphasis on want to)

Every move have shown he can, not forgetting his Soldiers were at kyiv's gates hours into the invasion.

There are more to this war than meets the eyes..

This war has a lot of propaganda and it could be hard to filter the reason why Russia did not take Kyiv when it was very close. Even the report from Aljazeera seems confusing. Russia said it pulled back because of negotiations, but Ukraine said it pushed Russia back.
After negotiation failed, one would expect Russia to continue the onslaught on Kyiv as it did at the start of the war to bring the war to a quick end instead of the thousands of lives now lost and the economic fall out.

We will continue to watch from the sidelines.

Even the US thought Kyiv would fall in the early days of the invasion and offered Zekensky and his family asylum. He told them he needed ammunitions and not a ride. If the war had ended quick, we would be spared of all the deaths and ammunitions now being shipped to Ukraine to prolong the war. It's now big business for the war industry and this war would likely drag as I have earlier mentioned on this thread. We shall wait and see what the new Russian commander will bring to the table.
