Should we not raise our voices around the appointment of thousands of political aides with a few months to go before end of tenure of a Governor, to be paid from public funds?Should we draw boundaries around what is wrong for political reasons?Are we serious about accountability?

This is just poverty alleviation strategy aimed at sharing small money to as many people as possible, the next governor can stop it next year.

Well wike is the one in charge, most states assembly are either moribund, rubber stamped, or just more of a mini-party Secretariat. If not i do not see why anyone would approve of this kind of appointments.

Whatever his reasons are I hope he pays them well. It's not an employment but an appointment which will probably last till the end of his tenure. At least he has empowered 14,000 indigenes of the state

Gov Wike is making us see the reality that there is actually so much money under the control of the state governors.
Something drastic have to be done to checkmate their excesses. State houses of assembly are as useless as the P in psychology.
