Hello ,I would be getting my 5th car,toyota fj cruiser by next month from copart. Is it a good buy for off road,I mean hope no ball joint wohala...i need your suggestions.

Very solid ride. But you should read about the "FJ Cruiser fender bulge".

Hmmmmm,that ride ehn I dey call am rock of Gibraltar,e too strong die,off-road capabilities is second to none,even trailer go give you way for road.if maintenance is not a problem,i.e fuelling ,then you are good to go.the engine and tranny must be maintained well o,cos the toks price of fj cruiser engine is way over a million.

Sure,price for jiji only for engine,go buy eod tokunbo. So me self go dey follow up and i would make sure its only engine oil with gear oil and coolant go be my own servicing. 4000cc engine v6,no be moi moi. Yay.

Better than 4runner?

The price for this ride is ridiculous!... that should tell you something about its quality and capabilities. The thing I remember reading about this ride is it was specifically built for off road and wiring ran up to the roof instead of floorboard level like all other vehicles. This made it capable of driving through seat high water without electrical problems. This is no doubt the best ... pretty much "hand made" by a Special Team. And we wonder why the price of one used ... can buy a brand new car.
