The group of five Governors (G5) in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking justice, equity and fairness in the party have travelled to Spain for a crucial meeting.

It was gathered that the group led by the Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, left the country for Madrid on Friday night.

Others in the team are the Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Samuel Ortom (Benue).

It was learnt Enugu Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, might join the team later.

The G5 has been calling for the resignation of the PDP’s National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, as their minimum condition for peace in the party and to join the presidential campaign council of the party’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The aggrieved Governors have insisted that it is unfair for the party to have the national chairman and presidential candidate from the northern extraction ahead of the poll.

Wike led the team to Spain after a live media chat in Port Harcourt where he heaped more allegations on Ayu maintaining that the national chairman lacked integrity to lead the party’s campaign for 2023.

To imagine this same corrupt, incompetent incapable, inept, unfit, unqualified disaster that can ever happen to any state, ikpeazu was voted two-different times by some group of people who are now clamouring for 'New Nigeria' up and down is sickening and the biggest height of hypocrisy.

It took just half-litre of kerosene, two-different times, complete good 8 years in total to deceive them. These same people are the ones constituting nuisances all around the political space, forming woke and wise all of a sudden. Just imagine! angry

Truly, South eastern governors are lucky. All they have to do is loot with reckless abandon, run the state into down-pit without any care in the world. Afterall, their citizens, the ones present in the state and the ones than ran to lagos and everywhere else better, doesnt care. Except crying and wailing on Buhari and Tinubu.

Look at the people called leaders we queued for under the scorching sun with no food & water in our belly so as to make sure they emerge winners, are now using the country as a joke. You want to have meetings or make amends, you leave Nigeria to other countries to spend tax payers money. Chai!
