Why am I here? What is life all about? What is the meaning of life?
*What is the meaning of life according to the Bible*? Our God is purposeful, and doesn't do anything without having a plan.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Even when you were still in the womb( Jer 1 vs 5), he already has a purpose for your life just as a manufacturer has a purpose for what he is creating. However,for a product to discover his purpose he must go back to the manufacturer.
1). The purpose of life is to know God.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

However without knowing Christ, there is no way anyone can know God, because Jesus is the way to the father.
The purpose of life is not for eating,playing,or acquisitions cars and property but to be a blessing to others.
Your life is a gift, from God which ought to be used for his pleasure (Rev 4 vs 11).
Have you discovered the purpose of God for your life?

Secondly the purpose of life is to fear God, the bible calls it the whole duty of man.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

The word Duty simply a task that has been given to you that must be done on a daily basis.


Thirdly the purpose of life is not for acquiring possession.
*Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth*.

In conclusion living for Christ will bring fulfillment and joy to our hearts.


*2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again*.

From the above verse anyone who doesn't live for Christ will eventually lose his life in eternity.

Mathew 10 vs 39: " *Whoever finds his life* *[in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], and whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for all eternity*]".

The purpose of life is any purpose which the one whose life is is decides for self. Just like Adam decided to spend his life his way as opposed to God's way, so also every man out there has the same freedom from God. God's curse on mankind in Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22 is exactly for that reason. Only those who decide to devote their existence to serving God can have their lives directly impacted in one way or the other.

Those who do not want to know God are allowed by God not to. However, it will be worse for those who claim to believe but refuse to live their lives in submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments.

The purpose of life is to be career-wise engaged, make your money and enjoy your life.

God gave Adam a career from the beginning, and that is to replenish this earth.
You too much make money and replenish your world.

Life is a gift from God,when we give it back to him it shows we are wise and not foolish.

As a parent i have often given my little two year old son a little bread, after a while i would ask him to give me in return, and guess what he refused.

That is how some of us behave, only thinking about Self alone, and the greatest problem of any individual, Nation, and Society are those who think of Self.

An average civil servant uses thirty five years to serve the government or a Company and what will reward do they offer in return. But if you use your life to serve God's purpose, there will be reward for you in eternity. Be wise

God is not moved by a person's efforts in whatever direction we choose. He is only honored by actual obedience of His teachings and commandments. So, even if, like majority our there, you claim to have belief in Him but never in fact obey Him, God does not consider you any better than those who outright reject Him.

As a matter of fact, all those who fall short of perfect obedience of His Law are condemned by God - Be ye Holy even as your Father is Holy. 2. The bible does not say that at all. Instead, John the apostle wrote that in his letter to believers of a primarily Jewish audience - those cleansed of sin by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The very same John you quote, clearly tells you 1 John 1 vs 6 that you are a Liar is you continue in sin this while you also claim to follow the Truth of God. Clearly, even John posits that it is wrong to commit sin in Jesus Christ. John then goes on to reveal in verse 7- 8 that all of those who were bought by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ - Jews - had sins before they were cleansed by Jesus Christ's blood - Recall Jesus Christ came to call sinners to God in the Gospels.

The situation here is clearly that by lifting these verses out-of-context, you completely abandon the true meaning intended by the author, hence locking yourselves up in ideas that are clearly antiChrist in origin.

I am afraid this is wrong since Jesus Christ in His teachings made it abundantly clear that it is only those who through continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments, those who have been set free from slavery to sin and are made holy/perfect vessels through obedience that the Spirit of Truth dwells on the inside of - John 14 vs 16 - 17 . Those who are slaves to sin can't know or perceive the Spirit of Truth aka the Holy Spirit.

4. So long as your spirit is weak, Jesus Christ made it clear that His Spirit can't abide in you - John 14 vs 20 - 27 & John 15 vs 7 - 11 & John 15 vs 26 - 27 & John 16 vs 4 - 15 .

So long as what you have are excuses and not actual obedience, Jesus Christ says you have no love for Him and He also has none for you- John 15 vs 9 - 11 - as His love is reserved only for those who obey His teachings and commandments.
