mostob:Lol, you're ignoring time, money and support which is what Arsenal gave Arteta in three years.. Those three things is what Arteta will hardly see In any other big club for him to calm things down especially that 3 years duration. If you think a big club will be patient the way arsenal is for up to 3yrs regarding Arteta, then you need to look no further than Lampard who was sacked at Chelsea for doing less bad result than what Arteta did. While we should be glad that we're seeing the best of Arteta now, I know that most credit should go to the board and kroenkes for believing in him when 99% of fans here and other clubs owners would have sacked him, esp in the sack-crazy world. If Arteta was in the same shoes with Zidane, you think he would carry 1 UCL how much more 3 with that same squad? Who would Arteta tell to start pressing from the front.. Ronaldo abi Benzema? Abi na those massive egos wey full Madrid and wey no deh respect coach naim young Arteta go tell? You're underrating the good work of Zidane and how he took that Madrid squad(no matter how good) to greatness and that's unfair. Something Mou could not do and Ancelotti could not do too |

Jodera:Leeds are an intense pressing team, and you guys had a midweek game where almost your first teamers played in so the difference in energy levels would play a part here. If Leeds sticks to there high intense pressing team,it would surely cause you problems. They can cause turnovers in your build up,and potentially create good chances from it.The only problem be say I no trust their coach,he fit go decide to pack bus which will favour you guys, but if he sticks to the beilsa's philosophy, and take advantage of their fitness level,I'm sure they can nick something from this game. As for newscastle,We always beat them.Forget their recent form,na our second wife after Chelsea be that .Besides they have a couple of their first teamers injured,I don't think they would be as threatening as they have been this season.Fingers crossed though. |

But why is nobody ignoring this tottheham team, they have been picking up important points silently. For me,they are serious contenders, even for the title and the fact that they have gone about their business silently, without pressure makes it even more dangerous for the opponents. Top four this season no go funny |

Youngzero2:Leeds are a good side no doubt but I think what could work for us is the quality of players we have over them. In terms of pressing, Leeds is not even in the top 5 pressing team this season, instead Newcastle is in top 3. Also it's amazing how you used midweek game where just most of our first teamers played 50min or less. We even played with 2nd gear but you think it'll affect our energy levels but you guys played with ALL your first teamers and with full gear and you now want to meet a high pressing team in Newcastle but you think it won't affect you guys nor your energy levels because "Newcastle are your wife". Issokay oo, 2pm no far again ![]() |

Youngzero2:I think they're a top4 worthy contender no doubt but in terms of competing with Man city, I don't see them at all. Their style of play is something that wouldn't be sustainable in the long run if they keep on playing like this. But yeah, they have enough tank and quality to get the top 4 spot |

Youngzero2:You make great points about Leeds because they have not exactly wandered off Bielsa's style. They play with a lot of intensity and press very hard from the top. However, this season, we have players who are technically gifted in beating the press from the back to open the middle of the park. I imagine Leeds are conscious of this advantage for Arsenal this season and will be careful with how much they press us inside our half because if we beat their high press and break into the middle then they are in big trouble because our front 3 of Martinelli (IF) Jesus (ST) and Saka (IF) have pace and the skills to evade defenders. We need to score early, else Leeds will make a game out of this considering they are one of the better conditioned team in the league when it comes to fitness. Nice analysis. |

Leeds' undoing will be to go all out pressing our backline. All it takes to beat heir press will be a long ball towards saka or Martinelli. |
