Failing to build the reservoir dam that will contained the water from Cameroon dam is causing us a lot. Look at the damages already caused. The implication of this will be felt badly as prices of goods esp food will go up as there will be shortage, people may die from the shock and much more.
The next administration should make provisions available for the dam construction. This is a national concern for crying out loud.

My Brother, Nigeria government failed us. This flood is as a result of the opening of Cameroon dam. Years ago, Cameron government and Nigeria government met and discussed about this flood issue. There are certain years that Cameroon dam will get filled and posh threat to her country, so the only way is to open the dam to allow the water flow out of their country. Nigeria government had an agreement with Cameronian government to build a dam in a particular location in Nigeria so that as Cameroon opens her dam, it will have a dam yo flow into in Nigeria and we can even use it for a purpose and Nigeria government agreed. Typical Nigeria govt failed to do as agreed and u won't expect Cameroon to allow the flood affect her country so they opened the dam to flow to Nigeria which is the flood we are witnessing destroying lives and properties. That's why Nigeria government can not sue Cameroon for the flood because they know they are at fault by not keeping to the plan.
