Conner44:That is the lack of structure we are talking about, L.P. lack candidates that are contesting meaningfully at all levels, you can't just tell people to vote only for LP when it comes to presidency and vote whoever they want at other levels. You guys forgot that, it General election we are doing next year. For any president to win at the center, he must also win the majority of other levels. The lost that is waiting for Obi is so glaring. He can not even second |

Slurity:If APC and pdp likes let them win the whole 36 states of the federation’s gubernatorial elections. The major thing is that LP wins the presidential election. After all, governors can cross carpet and switch political parties at any time, or have you forgotten its Nigeria we are in again lol ![]() |

kevclin:I’m ready to vote him. I just hope he delivers. I want a total overhaul of our politicians in every aspect of government. We need new individuals with fresh ideas bereft of the strings of godfathers. |

Slurity:Yea it’s the one who doesn’t know anything here. When Peter Obi was governor of Anambra state under apga tell me how many state house of assembly members were from his party? What other governor was from his party? Don’t worry, when the almighty lord works his wonderful grace again you’d be here to witness it |

Conner44:That is not a smart move o. If we want things to truly work, kick APC out if both federal and Lagos. Then, you will have done a very complete and thorough job. |

N3TRAL:Pls tell them ooo,dis people are becoming political fanatics and lack sense of reason especially the obidients...none of the presidential candidates are capable enough to rule this country without a good government system our government system is thrash, osinbajo would probably have stood a chance if not for how things are in. | Re: LP Lagos Governorship Candidate GVR Flag Off His Campaign On An Abandoned Road by hush15: 6:02pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
Conner44:Tinubu is indifferent about that o. He is that part of body that is stubborn and arrogant o. While I agree with you that once the head is correct, the body is suppose to be correct but Tinubu is not that kind of politician to conform o, he calls the shots not the shots called for him. Did he conform while PDP was there, no. Even with his own party sef, did he conform? Even if he becomes the president which by God's grace, he won't, do you think he will be loyal Even to his party? No because, the only person he is loyal to is himself and the power he seeks. He is on Lagosian's necks. Lagos is not and can't be at its best as long as he remains, neither will Nigerian if they make that mistake of giving him the chance. His politics is godfatherism and Lagos is suffering innately for it, forget all the temporal face-lift. It's all directed to a purpose, HIM and HIS AMBITIONS. He will only subdue Lagos more if he doesn't have his way at the federal and will fight tooth and nail to frustrate Obi's effort when Obi wins, which I pray and hope Obi wins. I stand to be corrected o but with Tinubu's antecedent, he needs to be retired completely, if we want sanity all round for the head to function well with the other parts of the system and the quickest way, is to take Lagos away from him. He can hold other states but not Lagos. LAGOS is the only reason why tinubu is reckoned with, that's all. Asides that, he is a nobody and he needs to be reminded that. |
| Re: LP Lagos Governorship Candidate GVR Flag Off His Campaign On An Abandoned Road by Conner44: 6:06pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
hush15:The fact is that if there’s any politician on the ballot who knows the antecedents and workings of the government and is ready to sever ties with any links to political godfatherism that person is Peter Obi. If the right person is on the seat of power in aso rock every corrupt and fraudulent member of the government will be exposed and prosecuted and that is the only way Tinubu’s wings can be sheered off . . . well, apart from death that is |
| Re: LP Lagos Governorship Candidate GVR Flag Off His Campaign On An Abandoned Road by hush15: 6:24pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
Conner44:You still don't get... Aso Rock and State are two different things and one cannot force the other. If it was like that, Obasanjo would have had his way with Lagos then or Buhari would have turned Nigeria to one party state since. They can only try to influence or exert affluence. While Peter Obi will try, he will only work and collaborate with regions that are ready. If Tinubu feels otherwise, his boys and states where he has influence too can act otherwise and there is nothing Obi can do about it . Another place where he can them exert his powers thru rule of law is when it falls on constitutional rights being breach by either side... you don't understand, if you do, you would realize the necessity and by the way, this isn't really about tinubu but the need for Lagos to experience real competition and growth. You can't understand. |
