We saw an example against Leeds, if Saliba had not handled (though it was a mistake) Bamford would have had a clear shot on goal. The ensuring penalty was missed. That's why we won that game- knowing that we had already lost momentum and conceding again would have been very possible.

Like I said, the only risk is to get red carded but if the foul is a technical foul (just as on Sunday), then no red card would be issued.

Moreover, nothing concerns ref with offsides as that's really at the discretion of Var (reason why you never see ref go to pitchside monitor to have a look). What do you mean by technical foul In penalty area. Are you justifying it was a right decision to gift that penalty? That we conceding that penalty was a good one because Bamford had an open goal? In fact, did bamford had an open goal leading to that penalty?

I don't understand how someone will say you need to do technical foul to get a penalty just to prevent a goal? No coach advice it and will never do such unless it's last minute of the game (or almost last minute) and there's no other option.
And for info, any 'technical' foul that denies an open goal opportunity is a red card. Whether technical or not... It's a red card cos that's the rule. You can't have it both ways.

I don't even believe he was struggling since season is still fresh. If you check stats of Kane as at 3 seasons ago down to his Tottenham debut, you'll find out that he's Normally a slow starter meaning most of his first EPL goals starts around Oct or early November time. Yet by end of season he's always winning golden boot or contention for golden boot.

So is it logical for someone by September to say Kane is not a good striker?
