This episode was a ride of emotions...
one moment I'm laughing like crazy,
the next moment I'm feeling sad for the characters,
the next moment feels wholesome and touching
then the next moment goes full pervy

As someone who's read the manga and know what's coming

AKI-47 makes his anime debut

Kohei Horikoshi's character writing is fücking amazing. Man really took Jin "Twice" Bubaigawara from his introduction as a comedy relief background character to having one of the most emotional moments in the show this last episode.
Made a villainous character so endearing that I was already dreading the inevitable betrayal he would receive from Hawks. And the fact that, as much as I wanted Hawks to win, I also didn't want Twice to lose raised the stakes of their battle significantly.
And then the touching farewell scene with Toga.
And this is just the 3rd episode of this season. Dayuum!!

The above scene was emotional enough on its own but Yuki Hayashi took it up a notch with this beautiful OST. Composers with Yuki in their name really killing it

Synopsis on MAL

However, her dream might come true after she meets Nijika Ijichi, a girl who plays drums and is looking for a new guitarist for her band.

Bocchi's social anxiety makes for some of the best comedy I've seen in anime for a while. Pair that with Nijika's outgoing personality and Ryou's laid-back, chill attitude and you've got 20+ minutes of some of the most entertaining character interactions this season.

Check out the pilot and, like it did with me, it should hook you and draw you in.
