Insecurity is just your problem. You hold LASG positions yet insecured. Lagos is great because of its diversity. The day Lagos lose that, it is finished. No major city in the world has a tribe in it. 35824L: |

Alabaintprice:Another flat headed hairy chestbeater, in the early 2000s when your elders where begging for peace when O.P.C nearly wiped out a section of that market, where were you? you better stay in your lane, if you do not want worse fate to befall you, and to make matters worse, you have no allies in the country, you have virtually insulted every other ethnic group. |

post=117701784:The chairman of electronics stopped those selling on the road side from displaying there goods because they're causing obstruction in the mkt, the agberos resisted him because they're the ones collecting money from the road side traders. That's all. The mkt was closed abruptly for today. |

[quote author=azpekuliar post=117701792]These jobless Agberos/omoniles will not go and work to earn a decent living. Always looking to extort hardworking traders. This is the South-West's version of the out-of-school children in the North who are turning into Banditry and Terrorism. [/quote You have started bah. Better go back to your Unknown Gunmen eastside and do your business there in peace. |

Brendaniel:It's better you start accepting the fact. Enugu capital is different from Enugu state. In Lagos state there's a place called Lagos, this place is what was the capital you refer to. I'm from Lagos Epe but my ancestors were from Epe also but Epe was not Lagos then. That's why my late grandfather refer to Epe as ijebu and Eko as Eko. |

Brendaniel:and what was left in Lagos since 1991 is what is still there till today? Most of the government properties left in Lagos since 1991 is no more in use today you should know that before somewhere can make the capital of a country there must be some certain qualities the place possess. And nothing changes the fact that Lagos is a Yoruba territory. |

Brendaniel:Let me correct one thing first. Lagos became the capital of Nigeria in 1960 and remained the capital till 1991. Lagos was the capital of Nigeria for just 31years and not 77years as you're claiming. Lagos grew its IGR from N600 million monthly to N50 billion monthly between 1999 to 2021. That's a 70fold growth in IGR. Meanwhile the seat of power has been relocated to Abuja eight years before 1999. Which other state comes close? How come, even Abuja, the seat of power for the past 31years is not is not even making 20% of what Lagos is generating. Lagos is not suitable to be chosen as a capital due to its location, most countries prefer their capital to be at the center for obvious reasons which we can see with the choice of Abuja. But something attracted government presence their. The same thing that attracted the Portuguese traders to Lagos decades before. At a time when each region control their resources, the federal government does not have the money to build the kind of infrastructure in Lagoss. ces. It wasn't the federal government that developed Lagos, they don't have the money. Immediately Nigeria's economic focus shifted from agriculture to oil under the military federal government, the seat of power was relocated to Abuja. If you attached the development in Abuja to proceeds of resources from all over the country, you would have been right. Lekki, Ajah, VGC, Banana island, Eko Atlantic evolution had nothing to do with what you're claiming. Stop hating on Lagos as if Lagos is the reason your region is backward. Get yourself a visionary leader. Get a Jagaban |

realestate99:Lol... OPC, the same one that can't make a move in Ago palace way there headquarter . They should come back again this time. All you stupid fools know how to do is to make noise the best. It saddens me that even the non educated touts on the street don't ignite as much trouble as the educated ones on nairaland...... It's disturbing to say the least. What is even more surprising is that after making all this mouth, nothing still happens. But don't let the idea of you own Lagos and you can do whatever you wish get into your head. You will be matched 1 on 1. Stay on your lane and allow Igbos be and live respectfully like they always do. |
