So many people thought the loans were grants. So they used the loan to marry more wives instead of investing it in their business. Sai baba should have properly informed them that these loans were meant to be repaid at some point.

The average northerner (sadly I'm one of them) would rather add more amariya instead of putting those funds into their agricultural business.

I was talking one Alerawa yesterday and the man said some of the folks from Jega know about the recovery thing but folks from Aliero think it's business as usual, most of them used the funds to either marry new wives, and show themselves.

Giving loans to Nigerians by any government agency...is just like fetching water in a basket to wash your car.

Government money no matter what form to many is like their share of the pie.
